You have a lot of modest conflicts of interest, but none that are would cause serious concern. My understanding is that no matter what person you pick for such an investigation, you are going to have conflicts of interest. The best is to have someone who isn't openly antagonistic, and can set aside such things. In this you want competence first.

I appreciate the answer but find it laughable that none cause you serious concern considering one of the FBI's most experienced counterintelligence officers was removed from Mueller's team and the DOJ's associate Deputy Attorney General was demoted for hiding his contact with Glenn Simpson from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He broke FBI protocol of silence-if-no-indictment to trash her severely to satisfy/pre-empt the FBI NY office going after her.

The article was between Comey heavily publicised conference and the election. This could be the article or could be others:
