Simmons would not have been happy with someone else having the ball at that wing position off the bench
He should have been given the chance. Manu is too old to do it consistently. Simmons should have been given the chance. If it didn't work out or he was complaining, you could trade him.

Did you see what Manu did to Boston? I'd rather have those moments than a whole season of Simmons exploring his growth.

And Bryn Forbes is in scrub territory for me. His shooting doesn't translate over to games that much. Might be a great practice shooter, but when you can't hit free throws and you're supposed to be a great shooter, that's a bad sign.

If I shoot anything less than 80% from the free throw line I'd be mad as at myself. I don't think I ever have shot less than 80% at the stripe.

Nope. Kawhi was one of the only players playing good. I could see the rest of them looked like , so that is one reason I wanted more minutes from him.
Under the cir stances, individually Kawhi was awesome. But the offense was really clunky.

So, we beat Boston without our best player and then lose to one of the laughingstocks in the league WITH our best player. Yeah, that makes sense...

Spurs have a lot of "3 point Shooters" that often can't find their shot. Green needs to go along with Mills, not sure if Forbes is worth a huge pay raise

7/28 from 3 and 12/19 from the FT line. Simple things
Only both have been a big issue all season. Kawhi coming back will help to an extent, but he can't fix everyone's shot. Should be Chip's job but it doesn't seem like he's done much the past few years.

We’re pretty damn awful on the road so far. Night and day from the home record.

    Pop needs to retire.
Becky would've done a better job than that old prune. Poop just shrivels up at the sight of Rick on the other bench.

Not a typical Spurs road team at all. The RRT will be a real litmus test.

3 point shooting is a bit down, but they are 8th at right around 80% from the FT line. FT shooting is about the same as last year, 3 point is like 3% down. Still plenty of time to turn it around

Someone just needs to tell him it's not Rick, it's Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
