If he comes off the bench it allows LMA to get it going on offense early along with Parker/Gay in the SL. That way when the Spurs let Kawhi do his thing it's with the bench unit against opposing benches and when he reaches his minute cap the Spurs still have something to turn to offensively. If they keep this current status quo up they very well may lose the next 4-5 games.

How will they flourish if you want them to play apart? We've already played nearly 30 games, they need as much time to get as possible. This out of sync stuff is normal stuff that you'd see to start a season. Problem is, we're in December, but with Kawhi coming back, it is kind of a reset button scenario.
