Eric Holder Warns GOP to Not Go After Mueller — Benghazi Survivor Hits Back With a Knockout Punch
The Russia probe has a lot of Republicans upset following the leak of anti-Trump texts from FBI agent Peter Strzok.
Strzok, who called the president an “idiot,” was removed from the investigation in July. Still, some in the GOP feel that Robert Mueller has breached trust by choosing partisan FBI employees.
With the controversy surrounding Strozk, there were calls for Mueller to step down.
The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board wrote, as reported by the Huffington Post:
All of this reinforces our doubts about Mr. Mueller’s ability to conduct a fair and credible probe of the FBI’s considerable part in the Russia-Trump drama. Mr. Mueller ran the bureau for 12 years and is fast friends with Mr. Comey, whose firing by Mr. Trump triggered his appointment as special counsel. The reluctance to cooperate with a congressional inquiry compounds doubts related to this clear conflict of interest.
Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder broke his silence about the situation with Mueller on Thursday.
Holder tweeted:
The tweet went viral and captured a lot of peoples' attention. But when Benghazi survivor and former Army Ranger Kris Paronto saw it, he couldn't let it go unchallenged.
Paronto fired back:
Mic drop.
dale, it sounds like you can't distance yourself.
Is there any doubt that if a porno was released featuring a Trump lookalike pounding a Hillary lookalike, Chris would be first in line at midnight at the XXX Barn?
That would require a barf bag, tbh.![]()

Former Watergate prosecutor pours cold water on Trump hint he may pardon Flynn: ‘He’s in for a big surprise’
“The practical consequences are that he wouldn’t be charged with a crime, but he’s already spilled his guts. He’s already told Mueller everything he knows,” Akerman replied.
“In addition to that, his cooperation agreement requires him to also speak to local and state officials.
So I guarantee you that Mueller has already had Flynn speaking to the attorney general of the state of New York’s people,
who are doing this jointly with him.
So that if somehow Mueller’s team was disbanded, and that group had to go, state attorney generals could simply step in here and use state crimes as opposed to federal crimes.”
“The central crime here relates to the fact that a crime was committed when they [the Russians] hacked the Democratic National Committee for those emails,” he explained.
“The only question that remains is, who else was involved, was the Trump campaign part of the conspiracy to get those emails out to throw the election to Donald Trump.”
“There are good laws in New York state that cover the exact same crimes,”
he concluded.
“So if the president somehow thinks he’s going to derail this investigation by getting rid of Mueller, he’s in for a big surprise.”

Democrat: Rumor is Trump could fire Mueller before Christmas
Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) said Friday that "rumors" on Capitol Hill suggest
President Trump could fire special counsel Robert Mueller before Christmas,
after Congress leaves Washington for the winter recess.
“The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was
going to make a significant speech at the end of next week.
And on Dec. 22, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller," Speier told California's KQED News.
Speier, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, said that
Trump was trying to shut down the committee's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election,
pointing to the lack of interviews scheduled for the new year.

Indictments are sealed. Doesn't matter of Mueller is fired. judges and prosecutors can unseal.
the amount of time and effort djohn has put into this thread only to see it collapsing with each and every release from the OIG investigation![]()
