FBI, DOJ will be subpoenaed over Clinton, Trump investigations
The House Judiciary Committee will issue subpoenas for testimony from key figures at the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) that were involved with the investigation into Hillary Clinton's email server and other election-year controversies, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said Tuesday.
Speaking on Fox Business Network, Jordan, a member of the Judiciary Committee, said Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) was readying subpoenas for four individuals at the agencies that Republicans have accused of bias against President Trump: FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, DOJ official Bruce Ohr and FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
"The chairman of the Judiciary Committee is going to subpoena Lisa Page," Jordan said. "He's going to subpoena Bruce Ohr and he's going to subpoena Peter Strzok and we're also going to get eventually to Andrew McCabe, as well. We need those people to come in, to be deposed and to put those people on the same stand that [Attorney General Jeff] Sessions and [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein sat on in the past few weeks."
Strzok was once on special counsel Robert Mueller's team but was reassigned to the human resources department after it was revealed that he exchanged pro-Clinton/anti-Trump text messages with Page, a fellow FBI agent with whom he was having an affair. Page was also at one point on the special counsel investigation.
Strzok also interviewed several of Clinton's senior aides as part of the investigation into the former secretary of State's handling of classified material and was reportedly responsible for softening the language the FBI used to describe Clinton's private server arrangement.
Ohr has attracted GOP scrutiny for the revelation that he met with and had close ties to the opposition research firm and former British spy behind a controversial anti-Trump dossier. Ohr met with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson and former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele during the campaign, and his wife worked for Fusion GPS.
Jordan said that eventually the committee would look to compel testimony from McCabe, who will meet privately with House Intelligence Committee members this week.
McCabe appears to be referenced in one of Strzok's texts to Page, in which Strzok alludes to an "insurance policy" in case Trump is elected president.
"We've asked fundamental questions of attorney general Sessions, of FBI Director [Christopher] Wray, and deputy director at the Justice Department Rod Rosenstein and they will not answer our questions, so now it's time for subpoenas," Jordan said.

Outnumbered Guest Stuns Hosts After Suggesting FBI Deputy Director Plotted to Assassinate Trump
During today’s broadcast of Fox News’ Outnumbered, #OneLuckyGuy Kevin Jackson was asked about reports that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassleywants Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe fired.
McCabe was referenced in a text sent by Strzok, which led Jackson down a rabbit hole:https://www.mediaite.com/tv/outnumbe...ssinate-trump/
“I think they will say, what was his intent, right?
That is exactly what former FBI Director James Comey said when he was letting Hillary Clinton off the hook.
And his intent, whether it was an assassination attempt or whether, definitely something — I am just saying, we do not know what it was.
When you say, ‘we gotta make sure this guy doesn’t get in at all costs’ — what does that mean?
I am saying, there is a spectrum of what does it mean,
but one thing we know for sure, is that
he was plotting in an election against a candidate, and
there is FBI fingerprints all over this.”
Fox watchers, a lot of them fringe, emotionally unstable, loser, gun-fellatin assholes, gonna start shootin up more and more places, esp if Trash and his mafiya go down.
Pootin supporting Stein to split the non-Repug vote just another way for Pootin to hurt Hillary, which Stein did in WI, MI, PA
Jill Stein’s extremely Russia-friendly campaign
Trump wasn't the only one promoting pro-Kremlin talking points last year.
Stein received a wealth of support from the Kremlin propaganda channel RT. Not only was her campaign, as NBC noted, “heavily promoted by RT,”
but she opted to participate in the 2016 Green Party presidential debate, broadcast on RT.
Where other Green Party candidates boycotted the debate because it was hosted on a Russian propaganda channel – one candidate described it as the “worst kind of representation of what the Green Party should be” –
Stein instead lauded the hosts, describing the debate on RT as a “step towards real democracy and an inspiration for … millions of Americans.”
Stein’s most prominent moment during the presidential campaign came via RT ... Stein memorably joined Michael Flynn – who recently pled guilty for lying about his interactions with Russian officials – and
Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow at a gala celebrating the ten-year anniversary of RT. Stein later described the attendant RT conference as “inspiring.”
Stein also shared the conference billing with Julian Assange – whom Stein in 2016 hailed as a “hero in my book,” and who, remarkably, even made a speaking appearance at the Green Party’s convention.
It remains unclear if Stein met Putin during her time in Moscow. On her website, Stein says she “met Russian President Vladimir Putin,” while she recently told Vice that she “didn’t meet” Putin.
But Stein’s willingness to praise Russian propaganda outlets and push Kremlin talking points didn’t end in Moscow. Indeed, she challenged – and arguably surpassed – Trump in crafting the most Moscow-friendly campaign of 2016.
Stein made the strange claim multiple times that NATO had “surrounded” Russia with nuclear weapons.
NATO is only fighting “enemies we invent to give the weapons industry a reason to sell more stuff.”
Stein selected a vice presidential candidate who brought his own Russia-friendly conspiracy theories along.
According to Ajamu Baraka, the destruction of Flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine didn’t come from Russia-backed separatists, as all evidence indicates. Rather, it was a “major false flag operation” designed “to be blamed on the Russians. And that’s exactly what has happened.”
While Stein and her campaign were pushing this kind of analysis, fake Russian Facebook accounts were likewise propping her campaign
she revealed earlier this month,
she’s still not convinced Moscow actually attempted to meddle in the election.
As she told Vice, Stein still hasn’t seen anything to convince her “it was Russians” who attempted to interfere during the campaign.

So Pootin has compromised Stein, too.

New FEC Complaint Accuses Clinton, DNC of 'Corrupt' Scheme to Launder Money Back to Her Campaign
A new legal complaint filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) accuses 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) of using state party chapters to bypass campaign donation limits and launder money back to the nominee.
The complaint was filed Monday by the Committee to Defend the President (CDP), alleging the Hillary Victory Fund sought cash from big-name donors like fashion icon Calvin Klein and “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane, Fox News reported.
Sizable donations were allegedly funneled through state parties, then to the DNC, before ultimately ending up with the Clinton campaign, according to the complaint, which read, in part:
Based on publicly available FEC records, repeatedly throughout the 2016 presidential campaign, HVF would purportedly transfer funds to its cons uent political committees, which included between 34 and 40 state parties. On the very same day each of these transfers supposedly occurred, or occasionally the very next day, every single one of those state parties purportedly contributed all of those funds to the DNC. ...
It appears virtually every single disbursement from HVF to a state party resulted in an immediate transfer of the same amount of funds from the state party to the DNC. Over 99% of funds transferred through HVF to state parties wound up at the DNC.
“What we have found, people need to see,” Ted Harvey, chair of the CDP, told Fox News. “I think it’s important that the American public has an understanding of how corrupt this campaign system was and that they were doing anything they could to secure the nomination in her favor.”
In total, the CDP believes roughly $84 million was funneled illegally from the DNC, through state party chapters and back to Clinton’s campaign coffers. The alleged scheme had to be established because, according to FEC rules, an individual cannot donate more than $2,700 to a campaign.
CDP counsel Dan Backer said the alleged scheme is a blatant violation of the law.
“It’s not entirely clear if they transferred the money to the state parties to begin with, and if they never had control of the money, it’s not a contribution. It’s an earmark,” he explained. “If the money is in control of the candidate, then it is a contribution to them.”

The house side seems to be awfully worried about the Mueller investigation. Specifically Nunes and this Jordan guy.
I wonder if they're not dirty themselves and are worried about those emails he got.
Everyone is on pins and needles, Reck.![]()
The house and senate "investigations" are a distraction. I wouldn't care if both of them get shut down toinght.
The one that counts is the one Trump fears the most.
Trump could fire Mueller and start it all over again.
If he was worried that's what he would do.
Are you even slightly curious about the “insurance policy”?
Have you never seen a Tyler Perry movie?
You think this is a meme?
I can tell you were raised in upper middle class white household with only references to other races and possibly some charity events where you wore an apron and ladled some gravy to a few minorities.
No. None at all.
You're talking about texts that are all out of context. And texts that took place back in March of 2016. Way before Mueller was in the picture.
Unless DOJ releases the texts in full context and intent to harm is shown, there's nothing to see.
why dont they just release the full conversation instead of the juicy "insurance policy" bit? they're taking a page from project veritas with the nothingburger quote
why doesn’t the OIG just release all 1.2 million do ents they’ve gathered during their year long investigation into the politicization of the FBI/DOJ
![]()
From the top of the FBI to HR over a nothingburger text message![]()
or if you're going to spotlight one text, maybe the conversation immediately before and after that one message...
i didnt call the text a nothingburger. pointing out the lack of context behind it, much like the van jones nothingburger soundbite
Is the crying emoticon for yourself?
You do realize that even with this hack job special, nothing came of these texts, right?
Releasing the full chain of messages is only going to provide a more clear picture of what was said and how it was meant.
