Get thee to the political forum. Your services are needed against the disease known as Liberalism.
I left it for good about 2 years ago...

Someone got all butthurt and literally emailed the human resources department at my employment to tell them that "an employee was spending too much time on political blogs..." [paraphrasing]

They brushed it off simply because I am really efficient at what I do, and produce - regardless of HOW I spend my time.

BUT it hit a little too close to home... don't want the unstable folks in that forum going to hunt me or my family down simply for not conforming with their ideology. boutons is literally a moment's spark away from engaging in domestic t e r r o r I s m. He's literally one of the most spiteful, anger-filled, bitter people I have ever encountered - anywhere.

I'm an immigrant, born in Mexico - but a naturalized U.S. Citizen - yet to them I am a racist xenophobe for understanding the value and need for American Exceptionalism. Like seriously? WTH? They are so absolutist and dense. In that particular instance they couldn't understand how a Mexican could denounce the corruption in Mexico. How it was possible to love the land, the people, the food, the women, the culture, the history - but denounce their socialist/narco policy making. Anyways...

Just not worth all the hassle...

I disliked Ayers a lot due to his bad hands, but I think he was better defensively than Joff. still

Marduk, how I wish Splitter could come back healthy and ready to rock.
Couldn't happen when he was young... no chance now.

But damn... He would be perfect for this team.

I don't think some of you remember just how bad Errors was tbh....

I'll give Joff this, at least he's not a clapper
    TBH

Dude managed to be totally sucky and unplayable for the greatest Spurs' team ever..

I remember how his unit used to bleed a 30 point lead to 12-15 pts in few minutes at the start o the 4th quarter which would lead Pop to reinsert Timmy or Diaw to put it to bed.. He had no chemistry with anyone on a team whose players played off each other in their sleep..

If you wandered in here having never watched an NBA game, I think you could safely deduce that a team with a guy named "Joffrey Lauvergne" in its rotation is probably not going to win a championship.

But, you would also deduce the guy has a future on a boy's band...

I think Joff is slightly better but is asked to do (and tries to do) way too much. There's a reason he doesn't play much even with only 3 bigs on the roster and that he was available for the min.
Yea, it's called the NBA's switch to small ball. It's ruined / put a damper on plenty of bigs' careers, too. If you're a non-wing 6' 9" and over, the NBA is ing you in the ass right now.

Joffrey might be the worst defensive big of the Duncan+ era. Combine that with his hogging and chucking and he's incredibly bad.

    He is astonishingly bad.

No question, JORDAN BELL is much better than him. More mpg on a le team, he'd be getting 20+ minutes a game every game on the Spurs.

Joffrey still doesn't have a block this season.

He didn't have a block last year with the Bulls.

Bell has nearly as many blocks in 25 games and 323 minutes (28 blocks) as Joffrey has in his entire 4 year career, 172 games and 2507 minutes (31 blocks).

And he makes shots, 73.2% true shooting compared to Joffrey's 52.5%

I think though that if Joff finger was not ed up he would t be hated as much. I think on the offense side of the ball he Is a decent player but on the defense side he is really really bad. I actually think Matt Castillo from Austin Toros could easily replace him and give us a much better defender.

My recollection of Ayres is he had hands of stone and couldn't catch anything. But he's a champ. Spurs '14 baby.

(The other thing I remember is Joff claiming some hotel was haunted...)

It warms my heart that this pile of slave keeps getting passed around from country to country, trying to eek out a living by missing dunks and rebounding over people who are a foot shorter than him.

I think Ayers was better even with Medusa hands. He was athletic, mobile, an underrated passer, pretty good rebounder and a good finisher (we he managed to catch the ball) he shot 58% during the 13-14 championship run.

Joff's only played 218 minutes this season but that is still pretty surprising that he doesn't have a single block; in fact if you combine his minutes from last season and this season, he has played 1200 minutes and tallied only 6 blocks, Murray has 8 in 635 minutes this season. I don't know if i'd call him the worst defensive big of the pop era, Blair was a special type of bad.

Bell looks to be a steal for the Warriors I was more upset that the Spurs didn't take a big at all in the draft, though they were apparently going to take Tony Bradley before Utah traded up with the Lakers.
