    Check his Olympic record.
If I want a great Olympian, I'm picking Jim tbh. Look how graceful he looks. How dignified:

How so? Kobe went to 2 Olympics. Won 2 Gold Medals. Melo was part of that 2004 stain on Jim's legacy

Kuz is better. Another 31 point game, without 3 starters, against Thibbs defense.
I like Kuzma, but that's laughable.

How so? I get it that you hate all things Lakers, but don't confuse Tatum being on a better team and (seemingly) playing for a better coach as him being better.

    Tatum: 14ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.4apg
    Kuz: 18ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.7apg

well for starters Kuzma is 3 years older, has a 5 points higher usage rate and is -2 in net rating while tatum is +6. Not to mention, tatum has far better percentages across the board as far as being shooters.. I really don't see the comparison between the two..

hard to say much negative about kuzma at this point. its easy to write off summer league success but he's carried it over...

his defense is pretty , but to get a scoring specialist like that at #27 is nice

Yeah, his defense is suspect. At the 4, he'll go off offensively because not many 4s can keep up with his foot speed. He'll get bodied by rugged 4s. At the 3, his foot speed is minimized somewhat, and He'll end up having to check players like the Greek Freak. He's still holding his own though:

He needs to put on about 10lbs of muscle. I don't know his ceiling but I like what I'm seeing so far.

im still skeptical that he can maintain his lights out 3 point shooting. he was subpar in college from 3, but suddenly he's elite with the NBA line?

Anyone who ever played ball at a pro level is better than you by default. Why would you even bring that up? But melo > Kobe.
