Spurs are going to have some serious and long thinking about Kawhi next contract..Let's be honest, if his tendon issues are chronic, he is simply not worth the Supermax with the amount of games he is missing yearly..

We are talking about a "player unavailability" that's getting close to an average of full 1/5 of a season..

I'm a gigantic Kawhi fan and think he deserves the money, but I wouldn't Pop and RC for being hesitant to give KL 200 mil given this situation. Hope it's all soon behind him so the SuperMax becomes a no brainer.
