Interesting book.Putin is a Free Marketeer in sort of an “Art of the Deal” sense. “Capitalism, in Putin’s understanding, is not production, management, and marketing. It is wheeling and dealing. It is not about workers and customers. It is about personal connections with regulators. It is finding and using loopholes in the law.” For Putin, the economy is a “battlefield,” the authors write, and both as deputy mayor of St. Petersburg and later at the Kremlin, Putin “used methods of coercion” that relied on deep knowledge of the personal foibles and financial misdeeds of his opponents. Whether it was local politicians, foreign business leaders, or, say, former Ukrainian president Viktor Yunakovych, “the focus was on finding and using leverage.”
Here is the Case Officer. Because of his 15 years in the KGB, Putin is skilled in “studying the mind of the targets, finding their vulnerabilities, and figuring out how to use them.” This is how he has managed Russia’s oligarchs, the authors say, using their wealth – and their desire for more – against them.
“Money is ever-present in the system, but it is not money that guarantees loyalty or holds the top level together,” Hill and Gaddy explain. “Instead, it is the fact that the money derives from activity that is or could be found to be illegal. Participants in the system are not bought off in the classic sense of that term. They are compromised; they are made vulnerable to threats. … Corrupt, even illegal, activity will be kept secret as long as the individual continues to play the game.” And the referee and star player is Putin himself. This is not an old-boy network, but a “one-boy network.”
Putin rose to power, and consolidated power by specializing in blackmail and extortion to control anyone he came across. This would make him well positioned to do the same to a greedy, corrupt, narcissist businessman.
As noted before, Trump is predictable in only one case: Effusive praise of Putin and Russia.
My gut:
Mueller's end game is to get as good of a picture of what Trump knew, or asked others to do as possible, then get Trump on the stand to get him to perjure himself. Trump lies so reflexively I wouldn't be surprised if they make it look easy when the tapes finally do get made public.
Trash going after USPS for not charging Amazon (Bezos) more for pkg delivery, since Bezos' WaPo has been, is, and will continue to do a mortal job by being crushingly "disloyal" to Trash.
iow, as Trash always does in his "deals", he wants not only to make a great deal, but to really hurt the other party.
Trash is a piece of sicko .
Don't look where Kushner's daddeh is then.
Ask him what charges and witness the meltdown.
Trash told DJTjr to lie, adoptions!!!, why?
Trump is a f'ing genius! This is pure rope-a-dope strategy we are seeing here. Sessions recuses himself knowing they have nothing. We get a special investigation spearheaded by Globalists/Obama & Hillary activists from the FBI and the DOJ. They can't help but trip over their own feet without the deep state holding their hand.![]()
What's a globalist, Chris?
Hillary Clinton ran state.

DEEP STATE!
The plot thickens...
GOWDY

Chris, man you keep backing up people who are about to go to jail.
Never answered my question.
Who is going to jail? Call it now.
Didn't want to bother pointing the obvious.
They're not government issued. He bought most of them from the internet.
This guy is trying to immitate thug life and cant.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, federal prosecutors decided not to charge Clarke after an FBI agent filed an affidavit against him in March.
Reck![]()
IIRC he's under investigation for that one time he let an immate die of thirst.

Liberal News Outlet Vox Makes Significant Admission After 7 Months of Trump-Russia Probe
After eight months of federal investigations and well over a year of countless media investigations, Vox was forced to come to grips with a simple truth.
“As 2017 winds down, there is still no clear answer to the central question at the heart of the probe: Did Trump’s team collude with the Russian government during the 2016 campaign?” Andrew Prokop wrote for Vox on Thursday.
Vox pointed to the indictments of his former campaign manager Paul Manafort and adviser Michael Flynn as indications of Trump-Russia collusion without stating the arrests were not directly related to Trump's campaign.
Moreover, Vox also alluded the “scrutiny” Trump is under for potential obstruction of justice charges as proof there will be another shoe to drop in 2018, despite there being no legal basis for obstruction charges.
Still, Vox concedes, “We still don’t yet know whether these actually led to anything — actual coordination, say, or a secret deal of some kind between Trump’s team and the Russians.”
