That was an interesting read.
One wonders first that he probably wanted more money.
Then, it doesn't seem he was guaranteed minutes or he didn't consider the Spurs a true contender. I can't imagine the Spurs not wanting him back.
Won a summer league championship, tbh.

Kyle and Davis with healthy numbers.
Hopefully they seize this opportunity with Rudy injured.
Avery Bradely and Reggie Jackson are both out..Should have zero excuses to not get this one especially with tomorrow a potential DNP-rest galore from Pop....
Davis too, in limited minutes.![]()
Tony Parker has now scored double figures in 930 career games. Only two point guards in NBA history with more: Gary Payton (1,035) and John Stockton (1,061)
Truly the greatest guard of his generation.
Certainly the most successful PG of his age.![]()
Anything less than a comfortable W would be disappointing tbh..
Eh, as long as they win I'm fine with it. Pistons have been playing well most of the season and the Spurs are a mediocre road team.
Bruh, look at at the injury report in that tweet..
They still have Ish Smith at PG, someone who has killed the Spurs in the past, and plenty of scrubs to go off. Tobias Harris has also been fluky from three all season, so it wouldn't surprise me if he took it to another level and canned in 10 of them tonight.
Super game thread!! Go Spurs! Whenever we play The Motor City I can't help but think of 2005....that was badass by anyone's standard...loved 2014 too and was glad we did in in 5 after ....well you know what!
Here's to you Bill!
Here's to all of us! Happy New Year!!
This is the fourth game this season the Spurs will have their preferred starting five available. They are 1-2 in previous three such games.
Back at you my friend.Happy New Year everyone!
Looks like Bullock will be the scrub that has a career night against us.
Like I said, I'll just be happy with a win.
Going to be 1-3 Spurs are very flat and being outplayed in all aspects early on
