Britain’s spy agencies played a crucial role in alerting their counterparts in Washington to contacts between members of Donald Trump’s campaign team and Russian intelligence operatives, the Guardian has been told.

GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of su ious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.

Over the next six months, until summer 2016, a number of western agencies shared further information on contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russians, sources said.

The European countries that passed on electronic intelligence – known as sigint – included Germany, Estonia and Poland. Australia, a member of the “Five Eyes” spying alliance that also includes the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand, also relayed material, one source said.

Another source suggested the Dutch and the French spy agency, the General Directorate for External Security or DGSE, were contributors.

Expert: Corrupt FBI Leaker Comey Lied to Congress – Abedin Emails Released Friday Provide Further Support to Lock Him Up!

Chris Farrell, the Director of Investigations and Research at Judicial Watch, was a guest on FOX News last night to discuss the portion of Huma Abedin’s emails that were released by the State Department yesterday. During the interview Farrell pointed out how former FBI Director James Comey lied before Congress when discussing the emails in front of Congress.

Gateway pundit’s Cristina Lalia reported yesterday that as previously reported, conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch revealed in October the State Department admitted it received 2,800 Huma Abedin government do ents from the FBI that were found on her husband Anthony Weiner’s laptop.

FOX News reported yesterday that –

At least four of the do ents released Friday are marked “classified.”

One November 2010 do ent that was released shows Abedin forwarding an email to an address led “Anthony Campaign.”

Former FBI Director James Comey said during a congressional hearing earlier this year that he believed Abedin regularly forwarded emails to Weiner for him to print out so she could give them to Clinton.

FOX News further points out that Judicial Watch requested the emails –

The conservative group Judicial Watch filed suit against the State Department for all official department emails sent or received by Abedin on a non-state.gov email address.

“This is a major victory,” the group’s president, Tom Fitton, said in a Friday statement. “After years of hard work in federal court, Judicial Watch has forced the State Department to finally allow Americans to see these public do ents.”

Fitton added, “That these government docs were on Anthony Weiner’s laptop dramatically illustrates the need for the Justice Department to finally do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law.”

Last night FOX News held a segment on the emails. Farrell from Judicial Watch shared the following –

Farrell went on to state –

Frankly, these do ents conform the foundation for an indictment of Comey and [Peter] Strzok, the investigator who is at the center of this entire nightmare of a security problem.



Tom Fitton, the President of Judicial Watch, earlier in the day tweeted an assessment on the Abedin emails –

Comey, Strzok and all of the corrupt FBI and DOJ agents and lawyers need to be brought to justice now. We cannot have the America that we know and cherish until justice is served. Either all the criminals are properly investigated, prosecuted and charged, or American becomes a banana republic and the world is lost for generations.

I don't believe you have nary room. You seem to be all good with your President being under active counter intelligence investigations for conspiring with a foreign adversary against the United States. With Multiple members of his campaign have FISA warrants granted on them. Meaning, a federal judge has reason to believe Trump's team was acting against the interests of the US.

‘The crime is conspiracy’: Prosecutor explains that question of Trump collusion is now irrelevant

“The crime is conspiracy,” Ackerman told anchor Richard Lui and national security reporter Ken Dilanian.

Lui asked whether Ackerman has a sense of whether special counsel Robert Mueller is leaning more toward prosecuting a case of collusion or conspiracy.

“I think the big enchilada here is the conspiracy to break into the Democratic National Committee in violation of federal computer crimes law and to use those emails to help Donald Trump get elected,” said Ackerman.
