    ... With the concept of small ball... The objective isn't to play small ppl at the 1,2, and 3 positions... Lol... His midget ball lineups are baffling... Especially for someone that preaches defense... To have 2 guys that are horrible defenders play significant minutes is confusing... Short players on the wing has zero advantage over tall players on the wing... It's not like the advantage a SF may have playing offense VS a true pf...

    the problem begins in the construction of the roster, we need less undersized guards and slower centers and more two-way wings;

    the rosters need Caris Levert, Delon Wright and Jordan Bell types of players, who can do multiple positions and functions on the court and has height and athleticism to defend three or more positions

    There are multiple types of small ball. They aren't all about the front court.

    We were missing Leonard, Green, Manu, and Gay. That is our best wing players.

    Team has too many short players, and even the short people are not that athletic. An athletic backup post player is sorely missed.

    Shouldn't have mattered, tbh. That was a very beatable 76ers team.

    Pop has proven over the years to not like athletic big men. He prefers slow guys that will stand where told, even if they can't get rebounds or block shots.

    Have to keep in mind like others posted, that the team didn’t have its full roster. Still Bryn, as good as he is offensively some nights and as tough as he competed, shouldn’t be playing 41 minutes, a huge portion of it next to Mills.

    Of curse Murray wasn’t playing well, between fouling and not shooting so what are you going to do? Play micro lineups most of the game.

    I thought had Murray had a good game he could have helped win the game. Rebounds were a big problem and Murray is great at coming up with lose balls etc. But the team had trouble scoring with him out there and to top it off he got in foul trouble really quickly.

    Yeah, Pop needs to take his advice from a front running wanker on Spurstalk because Pop doesn't understand basketball tactics as well as these guys here do.
