Choked so badly on two free throws and had a TERRIBLE final shot of the night that looked like it was going to hit the side of the backboard.

He's got Chris Paul syndrome. Great for 3 1/2 qtrs. Chokes the last half.

Is it just me, or did the other players kinda react like that's not what was drawn up in the timeout?

    Maybe I'm seeing things.

He had a one on one with the defender, 95% of the players in the league attack the rim, had a wide open lane.

Opts to shoot a Kobe-esque fadeaway

Nope. Poop drew that up. One of the worst out of timeout playcallers in the league and it doesn't receive enough attention

He's a fake all-star That's been stat padding for his entire career. Yet, people still get fooled into thinking He's a core player and a difference maker. I'm sure he'll show up big time against the Lakers and King and everybody will love him again because that's what fake all stars do. I'm sure Portland really misses him.

Free throws are one thing, but he's a big, with a sub par handle and play making ability; what do you expect? Outside of prime Duncan and Nowitzki, off the top of my head, I can't think of another successful team in recent memory that played through a big down the stretch.

Blame the front office for not acquiring a second perimeter player that they can play through. There's no other above average team that doesn't have two.

Extremely discouraging to see him shook again down the stretch after a great game in a low-stake affair..Again, very few have the "it" factor..

He is who he is. The second best player on a good team that shouldn't be taking the last shot. Not his fault that his alcoholic coach is daydreaming about what winery he should go to after the game, except watching one of his best players for 15 years playing great basketball who should of taken that last shot.

That last shot was just plain stupid.

But missing both those free throws speaks volumes about just how mentally weak this dude is in the clutch.

LMA doesn't want the ball at the end of the game; but his feelings will be hurt if he doesn't get the ball.

i don't think LMA is a choker like OP, what i disagree with is not putting it in manus hands and do a p&r with LMA. only reason not to go with him is if he was tired since he had played i believe the last 8 mins straight of the 4th

This. Asking Patty to orchestrate a game-winning play is basically asking to lose, especially when you have Ginobili on the floor.

Stick Patty in the corner where he belongs and throw it out for an open three if he gets it, but Manu is by far our best P&R passer.
