The only reason it's considered a "success" is because of the reason it's an established brand with a huge following of fans. Also the fact that kids like anything with bright colors and laser sword fights.

The films of today don't have the same artistic allure of films of the past. I've seen Shaw shank redemption, last of the Mohicans, gladiator, the old star wars, hundreds of times, but today's movies I'm good only seeing them once for the rest of my life. Yes, they're that bad ! Nothing but recycled classics and themes, but redone sjw style. No creativity, no heart!
