I guess we forgot how to play basketball
Rockets scored more points in one quarter against the Lakers (45) than the Spurs in the entire half. Trash team.
Wow looks like you’re the voice of reason tonight. Hopefully we just witnessed the worst play of the year. “Can’t get much worse!”

It would shock me. PATFO didn't do a 12:01 deal to trade him before this deadline. Plus, we would have to add a first round pick and take back an equally bad contract to move him. We are stuck.
It has nothing to do with them signing at 12:01..that was due to Paul not even hitting the market and not trying to rely on Murray and Forbes without knowing...

Now we know what they’re capable of it could change things...And no the Spurs don’t have to take on an equally “bad contract”

Would not shock me if he is dealt at deadline..
Outside of the Sixers, who would want him?

So, you are saying that it was either Paul or Patty? Uhm, there were other players available.

Brook is a Laker. Robin is a Bull. I wish we had signed RoLo. He is a sound defender, good rebounder and a good roller on the PnR.

I tend to think Spurs stand pat bc that is what they do.

They can justify standing pat bc Kawhi is injured etc. But they have known the PG spot is a huge weakness... and basically doubled down with 50 Mills.

I’m saying Paul was their #1 option.

Sure Spurs could’ve looked for another potential starting PG but who did you have in mind and the $$ could be the same..

Spurs obviously weren’t comfortable going with Forbes and Murray and that’s understandable..so they went the safe router and agreed Patty and didn’t take the chance on losing him..

If you can name a player/salary you would’ve preferred that help..

But don’t hit me with would’ve gone with Murray/Forbes..

Spurs will come back from that bad start IMO... but still that was pathetic.

Kyle with a few nice possessions. Got a steal, forced another turnover, and a nice cross-court pass to Murray.

Biggest problem with the Spurs offseason was there were tooooo many unanswered questions. It hurt them and tbh is why they didn’t get a meeting with Paul.

Yes the Pau/Mills contract sucks but at least they have a decent core and they can be moved if it becomes a necessity..especially this coming offseason

If Murray won't shoot, he's gotta be able to finish around the rim a la a young TP. Glad he's been hitting to start this half

    You’re pessimistic as ...

    Of course you think that.
