In other news, Tony Romo just said Tim Duncan was a Top 5 player of all time in the ans-Pats game.
I heard that and he also said Duncan was the best player in the league for a while.

Why were they talking about Duncan/NBA during a playoff game?
I mean I know it was the Pats blowout of Tennessee but still.

He thinks he is on a playground.
He gets all loose, carries the ball off a high dribble, and needs to go to Rucker.
    NBA Dejuante...
He's definitely got some bad habits he has to shake loose. Just low bbiq stuff man

This Murray is a terrible PG, Plumlee wanted to post up Davis who was fronting him... instead Murray... nope looks him off, chucks up a contested jumpshot.
meh...ive seen many point guards look off ppl....murray doesnt take enough shots to show that he consistently looks off ppl...shoot, i think he needs to look for his own shot more often...dude plays too passive out there...like he is afraid of making mistakes (hmm...i wonder why)

I wasn't talking about Dejounte but Jamal Murray, the alleged PG from the Nuggets. He's really a shooting guard. They didn't really run offense at all when he had the ball, he was terrible. That is why I said "this Murray"... Dejounte didn't get in the game until garbage time basically... my comment was when the game was contested.

The Spurs looked good but the Nuggets really don't have a PG.

    yea... what can I say?
Those are things he should know by now. So much talent yet... sometimes the light isn't on.
overreacting...he is 21...wont be 22 till the year is almost done...in the past he wouldn't even be a rookie yet...he will make mistakes...we are so accustomed to having old as sh*t point guards that we arent accustomed to seeing a pg make young player mistakes...but for the most part this season he has slowed the game down when he needed to...but for whatever reason ppl hold him to a higher standard than they hold other players...ive seen every player on the spurs take ill advised shots, but they dont get called dumb or garbage because of it...shoot against us several years ago kobe took a three pointer when they were UP by one against us with like 18 seconds left on the clock...all he had to do was hold the ball and time would have run out, or we would have been forced to foul, but he was feeling it and missed horribly...we then hit the game winning shot...moral of the stort, if vets take stupid shots, expect that a 21 year old who hardly plays will too...the guy had 11 minutes today...

    didn't read the whole thing...
but... it's not an overreaction. Management of the clock and controlling the pace of a game is a very, very basic PG task.

Kawhi looked much better out there, so I guess we are heading in the right direction ... Davis was on ... now lets get some consistent lineups out there. Patty needs to got the end of the bench so Murray continues to get some minutes

Kawhi is so ridiculously good, that even playing at 60-70% you can see his impact on the court

If Davis continues to play like this he could be vital for our success we have lacked fearless shooters like playoffs Gary Neal/Danny Green since them and Belinelli left. He’s the kind of shooter that can be effective in the playoffs, kind of everything we wished Matt Bonner wasn’t, he’s got the quicker trigger and he’s a better athlete. Still wish Bertans moved a little better than he did but he’s getting where we need him to be as a player.

    ^^^

Five years ago, Manu would've been a half foot higher and not stressing / looking so far up, though.

And dribbles too high. He gets picked spinning inside. Why not workout with Tony instead of Jamal? I mean Tony is the best at going in between trees, spinning, hiding the ball, and getting his shots up playing below the rim. Tony at his prime had one of the highest pg% and he’s a freaking guard. With Murrays physiques, I mean we expect more! The D, he got it. and he’s going to be better as a lockdown defender, and it helps to be playing with Kawhi and Danny. But offensively, especially protecting the ball. There’s Manu, one of the best going in the lane with his eurostep, freaking pioneered that . I mean Harden, Westbrook and all these players copying it. Murray has to be constantly working with Manu to learn that . I mean he’s very fortunate to be playing along with these great players. I like Murray. I think he can be the difference guarding Curry with his freakish wingspan. I wish Murray develops fast as Spurs will need him in June.
