Not sure it was actually a mistake. It's odd that Hawaii, of all places, would make such a mistake at a time when we are dealing with a nuclear threat from NK. Could be coincidence, but you'd think a missile threat would require more than some old dude pushing a button.

That's not the sole criterion for being a superpower. There's only one superpower, the USA. And if we're judging power only on the basis of nuclear weapons which is ridiculous unless you plan on using them, then the USA and Russia have way more than any other country.
