    It's incredible what Manu's doing at 40....
admirable actually... special... unbelievable. He has been better this season than the last, IMO. Not shooting the 3 as well as last season, but everything else...

Boston was able to rebuild on the fly trading the big 3 at the end of their primes.

We could have done something similar after ring 5 but that goes against that spurs culture.

the spurs are much more compe ive now than the celtics would have been with pierce/KG... and did you want the spurs to trade duncan? what value could they have gotten for parker/manu? not all that much

Good point. But that would go against the Spurs exceptionalism ideology. How dare they trade them from the exceptional spurs to a team??

Spurs exceptionalism ideology is as stupid as american exceptionalism

He's shooting better for 2, and worst for 3 than last year. What surprise me is the FT, he's shooting them really well, and it was one of his last years low points.

Had porker and manure retired with duncan we most likely would have locked up kawhi and two other supertars in d team. At least wed be competing for #2 seed instead of getting bukkaked by Gonzo Testicle and his BBB

Instead we are gifting 50 million to an australian roadkill, DACA contracts to a 68 year old Salvadorian nose and signing Parkers french born domesticated pet Dog to a bigman position

They were lucky enough to be dealing with Prokhorov and the Nets. The league is surprisingly light on abject stupidity like that nowadays.
