With a complete starting lineup for what feels like the first time all season, the Spurs bounced back against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday with a commanding all-around performance. Now the team will look to keep it going against the Atlanta Hawks in a Monday matinee game for MLK.
Fortunately, the injury report is unchanged, as only Rudy Gay remains sidelined with his busted heel. This is great news, meaning that Kawhi has finally been relieved from his "two-days rest" restriction, and hopefully with some health and a little luck, this team can start building some consistency and stringing together some wins.
Atlanta is literally the worst team in the NBA right now and, quite honestly, more focused on the lottery than the standings sheet, so there is absolutely no excuse to not walk away with this win. Time to start bolstering that road record and get it back above .500 where it belongs.

LMA was never going to get voted in as a starter, but i cant see him not being selected as a reserve. he's had too good a season
Yeah, too much talent at the forward positions and not enough spots with Durant, Davis, and Boogie.
Still would be nice for him to get a solid vote count though...the fact that he is so low despite having one of his best seasons is borderline criminal.
Yeah no way LA doesnt get selected as a reserve imo. Spurs are 3rd in the West because of him. Dealing with a mountain of injuries and random lineups he's been the one consistent bright spot for SA.
Agreed, I think he will be a shoe in with the coaches.
The real question is whether they will give Manu a nostalgia spot...but there is so much talent in the West, I'm not sure how they would be able to justify it.
The media, of course, would try to give it to Lonzo ing Ball before they would vote Manu in.
You're right. But it does seem weird that the NOP get two starters when their team is barely making the playoffs.
Oh one of these scary games we are supposed to win! Actually glad for all pt Kawhi, TP, and Danny can get working back into a rhythm. Go Spurs!

Looks like they aren't playing Kawhi again...this is getting ridiculous and Sean is talking about it in the pre-game. Hard to have any continuity.
Viva ABBA!
They're not playing Kawni again!!!!??????!!!!!!
Clearly Kawhi should have said "Take a chance on me!!!!"![]()
I got an alert saying the game is starting in 15 minutes on the NBA app.
Complete joke. Pop said himself Kawhi wasn’t winded. I’ve never seen any management for a 26 year old that didn’t have surgery.
your app is correct
Pop said earlier that kawhi will be resting every 2nd game till the end of his career. Also, limited to 30 mins till the end of his career.
This must mean Pop has him down as a game time decision.
but no one's laughing
Injury management, that . Either he's completely healed and ready to play or he's not. Let him get in a rhythm. We're already passed the halfway point of the season.
Oh off already Poop. SMH
