That's an empty claim easily disproven by just looking at Paul's stats on elimination games.
See, this is why I feel the need to defend certain pos ions. Folks just buy into some narratives without even caring to see if the facts back these stories.
I certainly wouldn't defend CP3 for last night. Definitely made for what he and his teammates did at the end of and after the game. Take a loss like a man and don't be a . That said, it means nothing big picture. It would mean something if it were game 7 of a playoff series. CP3 haters love to talk about how he's a regular season warrior but a playoff choker. Well, if they dismiss the regular season when things go well for him, then same should be done for when things go bad for him in the regular season.
But again he was absolutely a last night.
check some of his series splits ...
at least vs Lakers and vs spurs (Nola series) i know for a fact he was much better to start ...i saw every min of Laker series ...but lets take a look and see if numbers bear this out...

I saw every min of this series more than once ...it was the last playoff win my team has had so dont tell me that Paul is fading is made up i saw the with my own eyes in his freaking prime.
(sad we havent won a series since paul faded on us)

Even in the series we won against the Grizzlies, our bench had to carry him to the win in Game 7. CP0's choked down the stretch of so many playoff series, it's ridiculous that people still pretend he's "clutch." His impact is often compared to LeBron's, but then he's held to an infinitely lower standard of playoff success than LeBron is... how does that make any sense?
Actually the last playoff series the Lakers won was in 2012 against the Nuggets.

I was not debating anything on CP3 but just correcting you on the last series the Lakers had won. I remember that series mainly because of the drama that happened before that series with Artest's suspension from knocking out Harden. I remember Artest was suspended for several games that carried over into the playoffs and wasn't able to play until game 7 of that series. Plus it was the only series where I have seen Javale McGee look like a legit solid big man.

2015: Choked Game 6 against the Rockets, didn't show up for Games 5 or 7 until garbage time
2017: Choked and quit in Game 7 against the Jazz, at home
No Western Conference Finals appearances. No Finals appearances. No rings.
