How can Trump veto a bill that hasn't been through the House? One that hasn't even been voted on in the Senate.
The dems tried to get the military paid mcconnel objected

60 is required to end a filibuster, dim. Nobody was debating on the floor.
you think Mexico is going to pay for the wall.
Knowing Hill they poll 2 out of 3 democracts
He said he would veto it which is ostensibly the same thing. This should not be a hard concept.
You think the Hill leans left?![]()
Never even passed no one has the balls to make trump veto a bill?
I'll place money on that crock of a proposal not getting through the Senate - much less the House.
Rebuplicans passed things to make former president veto it
Donkeys are a lazy welfare people group

The polls said that they 21% blamed Trump, 26% blamed Ryan and McConnell's boys, and and 31% democrats.
That would be 47% to 31% --a 16 point margin-- which is similar to this most recent poll. I get that you were misled by a right wing site who didn't add the Trump/ GOP figures together but its there just the same.
Who gives a . It was scuttled days ago but if you want to grandstand on unprovable nonsense then have at it.
yeah i was wrong about a shutdown being avoided altogether, though i was not wrong about the house getting a bill put together
i was legitimately curious about your veto comment, but ok, keep trying to compete for internet points
Well, pardon me - who's the one who brought up the subject using not correct terms?
CNN polls good now
Clean DACA
Clean CHIP
Or nothing,
do the Dems have the spine?
So, bou, when I go in to work on Monday and tell them that my dh gets paid through the end of the month (only because the contracted company got paid ahead of time) but that all the military (less those manning only one open security gate) and civilians at SouthCom (Southern Command) don't report to work, who do you think they are going to sympathize with? It's not so bad for us since I'm working now and we have reserves, but those living pay check to pay check (and there are many), how will they fare? All this - over illegal immigrants. Now I have to find out what happens to our health and dental insurance past the end of the month - do they continue if dh doesn't get a pay check (and so doesn't pay the dependent portion)?
Trump and the Republicans should never have put these people under that threat in the first place.
It's all on them.
You may have your opinion. And I have mine.
230 democracts voted to shutdown the government
The threat of shutdown exists because Republicans want it to.
It's all on them.
Not a threat it happened 230 democracts votes for shutdown
It's a threat because Republicans want it to be.
And they're rightfully getting the blame.
