5 steals is impressive. I'll say that much.
That's how pathetic Lamarcus was. Kyle scored the same on better efficiency and made a lot of defensive plays in the game. Had more assists than Aldridge had less TO... Wasn't a star game by any means but Lamarcus allowed himself to be outplayed by roleplayers.

Haas happened at least twice this season.. Several times for his career.

Let the tanking begin ..
In all honesty if was a top five team no one but Kawhi and LMA would be able to make there team. This team really sucks really bad.
as bad as Gasol's deal is, I still almost feel bad for him, he's the only one that shows up consistently.
I don’t. He should’ve signed here two years ago. 3 years ago.
I agree, this got chose Chicago over the Spurs however long ago for Chicago’s symphony scene... and yet, he also got a loyalty contract from the Spurs. Enjoy the recently closed and now symphony-less San Antonio.![]()
true, but, FA's just don't come to SA when there's any other good option. so not like it was out of the ordinary or anything
Pau is a ho
Pau is a sieve on defense. Horrible at contesting shots, too slow-footed. And his go-to move when a player runs past him is to scream and make funny faces. No resistance.
What the deal with this? I thought SA recently got an opera house or something. Did it close already?
I don't see us winning 50 games this season.
I'm starting to think the same. If Kawhi is out for a long period of time, I think they may not reach 50 wins with this current team.
LMA is on a bad shooting streak and the team misses its soul with Manu out ... it simply becomes too much right now
Lamarcus is shooting like 28% the last two games on high usage. He may be starting to get worn out. He has played heavy minutes an has to play on both on ends
I am not blaming anything on him ... he works hard. I blame our shooters for not winning such a game at home ... we need the occasional 5of6 from deep from Davis, Patty or Bryn with so many missing players.
but what about Tony's bad offensive games this season? Spurs scored less points last game vs a more inferior team with tony starting...u are vastly overrating tony's impact on the offense..this isnt 2007
The opera and symphony are separate organizations. Not sure about the opera, but the symphony ran out of funding and is suspending operations.
At least Murray took the perimeter shot when wide open last night. He missed, but more importantly he took the shot. I’ve also heard people criticizing LMA’s play and I have to say the Pacers doubled him and tried to trap him every time he touched the ball. Good effort by Gasol, TP, KA, and Bryn shot 50%.
We didn't look good. These last two games have been hard to watch with our woes with our offense.

Good observation on Lamarcus. That’s happened b4 but it’s getting more pronounced the further into the season we get. Team have scouted out offenses and specially playoff teams will play Spurs tough.
I don’t know how this offense with Murray will go with him being such a non-shooter but unless the Spurs make a trade this is what they have to work with. Murray playing off the ball with a ball dominant Kawhi won’t look better than he’s doing right now. I don’t know how that guy showed up this season not being able to shoot a corner 3
Yes I get what you are sayin. My main takeaway from the game was simplistic- couldn’t throw the ball in the ocean, TO’s galore, and LMA is getting swarmed. Smart scouting really.
Pop has mentioned the shooting woes. Murray starting may not be a permanent thing either. Pop highlighted the defensive effort was admirable but it’s for naught if they can’t score.
It's disgusting to watch a team where no one can penetrate and create, either for themselves or others. So much of the shot clock spent on passing it around the three point line back and forth from a bunch of guys who can't even get in a three without help.
Simmons could get to the rim without a pick. He could draw help. He could finish or pass. And still defend. And was under control for cheap.
But tonight was a taste of Spurs ball through 2021 when Manu retires.
Mills and other scrubs unable to create, penetrate, finish.
I am not a Jsimms fan and he's not exactly having a great season... if Simmons is your savior you ain't getting far either.
But they didn't need to resign Mills and there were other players available like Tyreke Evans, Collison, just others... there were many players in FA that they could have gotten...
The roster construction was meant to rely on Kawhi and Rudy Gay basically. Still it's a bad roster construction. They have needed to improve their PG play for years. It finally came crashing down.
