At the AT&T Center tonight as we face a 27-18 Cavs team who are struggling just as badly as we are, having lost 5 of their last 6 games, by an average of 16 PPG. Kawhi, Manu, Pau, and Rudy are all Out. Probably going to be a long night, but that's why you play the game. This one will be nationally televised on TNT. Let's get it.

Spurs are complete trash on offense. In these types of matches, the game usually favors the team with the trashy defense be ause no matter how horrible the defense, if you can't knockdown open shots, you can't win.

I have been thinking... potentially a game where guys like Davis and other shooters bounce back. Several guys have been in a slump for many games now (Patty with just the Brooklyn game to show recently for good shooting nights)... it's completely possible this game turns out well if regression to the mean happens.
On the other hand... I think the Spurs are mentally wearied out. For the young players, it's one thing to play regular minutes when Pop rests players every season, which happens a max of perhaps 5-10 games, than to play an entire season in roles too large for their skill or talent bc Kawhi and others are injured all the time.
You don't see them ganging up on each other accusing the faking of injuries like they did K.Love.
