I... Told... You... So...
He's not leaving, but seriously Spurs cannot just give one loyalty contract after another.
i hope he leaves. popovich makin y contracts and no future here.
kyrie-kawhi duo would be great in celtics.
If true (and not some ploy from his camp to ensure they offer the super max), on the one hand, I don't blame him. On the other hand, I do. If he had a problem with the direction of the franchise, he should have discussed it with them sometime between the end of the season and draft. He also should have been an active participant in recruiting in recent years.
Step 1: Unless they believe this injury to be career altering, attempt to repair the relationship. Even though they could obviously get a massive return, no return would be equal to his healthy self.
Step 2: Failing that, trade him to Celtics for Brown, Tatum, requisite salary filler and one of their lesser 1sts.

I love how this is torturing you all...it just warms my heart.
Go be a Celtics fan, then.
you go be a pau gasol-tony parker fan.
As long as they are playing with the Spurs, I will be. My loyalty is with the team, not the players.
So many of ya gots ate that .![]()
Some instant classics here.![]()
This.
Spurs over any player trying to strong arm the franchise.
same as it warmed our hearts to see Swaggy P Swag it up on your team the last few years![]()
15 million for Parker. 11 million for the fat aborogine. That's over a quarter of the salary cap for 2 crap point guards who aren't even starters. A 40 year old is our best SG. No backup bigs. We'll done front office, well done. Why would Kawhi wanna play for this terribly constructed team.

You know people are talking about the construction of the team but it surprisingly ended up being solid all things considered, imo. I like the length and versatility on the team. Injuries =/= poor construction. Murray-LDN-Kawhi-Gay/Fathead-LMA or even Fathead-LDN-Kawhi-Gay-LMA would've been pretty sweet but we haven't really gotten a chance to see it bc of injuries. I still we are at the very least the 2nd best team in the league if the squad is healthy, tbh.
The Paddy contract absolutely sucks but I'm thinking there's at least one dumbass GM out there that would help move it if needed.
i dont think the roster is that bad... but its realistically impossible to compete with GSW right now (though houston has done the most to try to match their star power).
mills/gasol contracts are awful though
The past 5+ years of Lakers ball has warmed our hearts too![]()
