Come to Mexico, and get pulled over by a fake police office who is really cartel and get ready to fork over some serious money or your life. Sounds like fun!

oh we got stopped not far into mexico, near monterrey, and the "cops" said we were speeding and threatened to take our license plates and jail us if we didn't pay $800. we paid $20 and went on our way. lol thank god my buddy who was with me was puro mexicano and talked our way out of that bs. the dude in front of us who got pulled over too didn't have luck like us and they already had his plates(texas too) off his car.

You're right. My high school buddies had to bribe every cop in town after they caught them with a joint and MIPs/public intoxication.

I know a guy who lives there for the majority of the year puro Mexicano. He comes to Texas for music festivals and things like that. He told me never to come there unless I was with him for the same things you are talking about. They take advantage of tourists just like in Jamaica.

Back before Nafta a frien of mine was a smuggler that smuggled high end electronics into mexico. Had a fleet of DC 3's. There was a big dog that controlled the Brownsville sector of the border. The anti-smuggler mexican aero-cops bought their jobs from him and then got to keep what they caught. The rule though was they had to patrol every night only where he told them to. My buddy paid this guy a bunch (probably 50k in todays dollars in cash every month) to call him every day and tell him where the "holes" were. It was a great gig for that guy. The mexican aerocops paid him a lot of money to work their asses off trying to catch the gringos that didnt pay him for safe passage.

my buddies in acapulco describe it as not safe these days... they said the cartels have infiltrated that city last i talked to them. i was going to fly into acapulco a couple yrs ago and they flat out said it wasn't safe for me to do so. that was the end of me contemplating visiting mexico ever again. such a beautiful country with great people but their govt is in bed with the cartels and both seek to keep that country poor and unsafe.

I didn't ask you a question. I do think evangelical Christians that are against daca are ridiculously huge hypocrites.

No, it was for Chris. He hates answering questions about the things he posts.
    My apologies.

you'd have to ask my friend. i am no way fluent in spanish and he talked us out of a huge amount of $. he was born in small town about 7-9 hrs into mexico. i guess being puro mexicano has its advantages. the other dude wasn't as lucky as us though. that was crazy watching those cops pull those plates off that other dude's car as he pleaded and pleaded with them.

No one believed the 90% poll from CBS I posted or the 83% from Fox News which is a liberal propaganda machine apparently and he wants to post more facts so he can say theyre made up too lol
Aaron, keep posting to back up what you believe - don't let what others think stop you. Of course, polls are more unreliable than data/studies depending on who was polled. But even charts/studies should be viewed skeptically - eg. one posted on this board that included health benefits, medicare benefits, etc as INCOME. Try to verify - so often we have heard something repeated so many times that we believe it's true. I didn't know about this diversity lottery or chain migration before this whole topic came up. We are all better educated on the subject - that's a good thing.
