From my personal experience doctors take prescribing hydrocodone damn seriously. So does the government. The days of doctor shopping for multiple scrips are over. Every scrip is registered with the state now and cross referenced.

Still doesn't stop many from over-prescribing when given enough $$$ kickbacks $$$ from the companies benefitting.

that's crazy but then again i don't know much about meds... i'm scared of pills so i try to never take any at all except excedrin from time to time for headaches.
