3.75/10
Imagine if HOTS was coming off the bench his entire career in Pop's system, stat padding off of the other team's scrubs night in and night out. He would probably have 10 ASG appearances instead of 6.
This team is fine once Manure hangs it up.
One thing is for sure.... he'd have more than 2 all star appearances and 1 6MOY award![]()
imagine if Duncan came of the bench...
Would never happen. Superstars in their primes don't come off the bench. Maybe 40yr old Duncan
Meh, just Tony following Manualpha's lead as usual.
Would Eva and Erin still have ed him if he were a career bench player?
Check his +/- in the latest game against the Grizzlies. In a game the Spurs won handily, Parker was the only guy with a negative impact after 21 minutes of floor time. Even Forbes, JLOL and Fatty fared better.
Parker’s abysmal defence will be further exposed when playing off the bench and be relied upon as the 6th man. He may be better off hidden among the starters.
lol 1 game sample +/-
So many player fans from Argentina™ on here getting tight smh
Then check out his career +/- for his overall impact in games, especially in the playoffs.
BTW, your assumption about Parker coming off the bench is also based on a very small sample of 1-2 games.
tbh, he was fine cheering Kerr and SJax from the bench in 2003... And Manu and Tim in 2014 against the Thunder...
Maybe being in the bench is a natural fit for him...
On the other hand, when Manu got hurt in the playoffs in 2009, we got nutpuched by Dallas in the first round, rofl...
Tony did do his stat padding in that series tho...![]()
If only Pop had the guts to bench the Honduran on turnover #7.... or on a defensive possession against the Mavs.... or 0.4 left in a playoff game
Sucks for Tony fluffers, but the hard cold truth is that when Manu plays well and Tony doesn't, we normally end up with the championship anyways... doesn't work the other way around though, tbh...
Love Tony, and what he's meant for the franchise, hopefully his season of giving continues and he gives his bench minutes to Forbes, tbh...
Seriously though, I don't think the bench unit has ever looked looked this good. Every bench player (that played more than 2 minutes) last night scored double digit points. Ball just moves better right now. I'm usually used to watching 6th men give assists to the other team or to the popcorn guy in the 18th row, tbh..
I have a feeling this will change soon unfortunately with the return of the Chilean smdh..
Enrique fanbois are a bitter and insecure lot
They were both incredible in their prime and clutch as
ElNono still having his period tbh...![]()
nah brah... this is a bait thread, tbh... adding to it...
This. Starter or not, what it counts is who's playing in the last 5 minutes of the game, and Manu was always in the court. I congratulate Tony for his good at ude right now, but 10 years ago, his ego wouldn't allow him coming of the bench.
Yes because this team has been tearing it up since Manu was injured.
