I still like KD for MVP.
Same argument you used against Curry. Warriors on 70 win pace without Durant.

And the one loss they had minus Durant was a game Curry also missed.

sons lebron is on his patented January coasting month ... another great year of betting ahead of us tbh. this year betting on the cavs will make me even more then last year, god I love idiot fans

The next 30 days are brutal for the cavs (vs warriors, rockets, thunder, celtics, spurs ..) so their stock will drop to a max season low when they meet washington , so that's a prime bet position for cavs make the finals. last year I got 6-1 return when the celtics were rolling, maybe this year it drops to 8-1

also lol @anybody who think lebron isn't the mvp in this made league. here's to harden breaking his leg on an akward fall so that I never get to see this abomination play again. god bless tbh.
I'd wish you the same but you guys already suck donkey .

idk ...still LeBron but his hold is very shaky ...
that is 3 national tv ass whuppins in less than 3 weeks ...
obviously he should be considered every year but what other mvp has been blown out so routinely?

    Ny vote has changed ...
LeBron playing great on offense still ..
not sure its Harden though...(unless Rox pass State)
but with all these L's by the Cavs ..
and 7 straight net negative games for James he lost my vote for now...
I also saw him jog back on defense after a miss ... leaving Green wide open on a key possesion ..
sorry not the mvp at mid season...
even though he still the best player.
    Congrats on 30k though ...
he broke another Kobe record ...

harden's pretty much the perfect example of a manufactured system in today's game.

him winning an mvp this year is probably going to be the weakest in the last decade, worst than derrick rose. smh.

id rather see curry win it and this coming from someone who despise the warriors.

how can u say his manufactured? on any team his still the same player ballhogging the ball...

2 straight years putting up peak numbers and they didn't give him the award, now 3rd straight year his putting up peak numbers again... so what does he need to do to win mvp? nash played no fkn defense, curry played no defense and they won b2b mvps

rose won mvp in a weak season also for all the flaws he has, only facet of his game is just attacking the rim hard and no jumpshot

He did take McHale to the playoffs. Where is McHale now?

Why do people keep bumping this thread like LeCoon is still in the conversation?

Unimpressive record, routinely gets his pushed in by playoffs teams, building his case by playing excessive minutes and stat-padding against sub .500 teams.

He's a turnover machine nowadays and takes too many plays off on defense. He had a quad-double with 11 turnovers a couple of weeks ago iirc

He's borderline top 5 for MVP imho.

This is an all around take..and I don’t care if harden wins it at this point. “Weakest”..? . Christ, this is what catering to the lowest common denominator of fans is.

Harden is the biggest playoff quitter. That Game 6 last year - losing by 40 at home with Kawhi & Parker out, was embarrassing even as a basketball fan. He was ready for holidays.

Let's not gloss over that CP0 quit in similar fashion in a home Game 7 against the injured Jazz last year.

Harden is one of the biggest playoff chokers I've ever seen, but he's unquestionably the MVP, tbh..

All he's missing from his choking repertoire is winning MVP and subsequently embarrassing himself on the playoffs
Yea I still remember Hakeem doing that to Robinson.

Harden=David Robinson is actually the comparison I've always made, tbh if careers were based on the RS, both would be top 10 all-time..

No player should have their careers defined based on one playoff game. Bad management decisions are made when you over-value playoff performance (Horry contract, JR Smith contract, Tristan Thompson contract, Joe Flacco, etc.)

Harden's career playoff PER of 21.3, BPM of 5.9 over 3029 MP isn't bad.

Out of KD(2014), Russ (2017) and Harden (2018) MVP years, Harden's is the most impressive.

    except the flops/fts ...
Not sure why so much hate.
MVP is a regular season award.
Guys that dont play defense (Nash/Dirk) ...
Only play really defense in key spots (Rose/Russ/Kobe/LeBron) ...and playoff/Finals underperformers (Rose/Nash/Robinson)
All have won the award ...
it hasnt been about the best player in the game since they stopped giving them to MJ ...its just that sometimes the best player also has the best narrative or numbers are so crazy (LeBron/Russ/Shaq/Steph) you cant deny them ...even if not the brst player ...
Harden has plenty in common with a lot of MvP's ...

Trust me I was pissed at the josh hart flop foul call...i was cussing at Harden ...he is soo good he doesnt need the bull . but i realized im mad at the refs, not Harden.
Not calling or falling for his bull is on these punkass refs.
Harden just exploiting rules just like
    Lebron crab dribble...
    Manu flops ...
Durant rip through move ...pre rule change
    Reggie miller leg kick ...
    KG illegal screens

all of that is cheap, cheating etc. Harden just taking advantage of ass refs.
    Bowen stepping under shooters...
Shaq using shoulder to dislodge Dikembe and others ...

I'm not mad at players taking advantage of rules ..to try and win.
