I'll retract when I see you make those shots. The ones Harden and Paul made that most professional NBA players can't replicate.

But I won't hold my breath.

Yeah, but not really from your perspective. The Rockets can't be coming out of this feeling that good. The Spurs held them down reasonably well defensively but couldn't make buckets consistently. That won't be the case if Kawhi is playing.
That is true they only lost by 10 points when all its said and done and several "specialist" shooters missed wide open shots. we aren't talking about heaves or anything. Pau was terrible.. some Spurs young players like Murray didn't show the required aggression to start the game...etc... Tony was lacking confidence in his jumpshot... Pop played a dleague player... still Danny killed them.. Kawhi would destroy them. He needs to get healthy though.

Agree with Pop..they did well to give themselves a chance in the 4th, but not much you can do without Kawhi and when a top 5 SG of all-time is making ridiculous shots..

Oh, that's the reason others don't pull that off from 30' during the guts of the game?

Let me ask you this: does Kawhi push-off or travel?

Yup. All the meltdowns on here right now are dumb. I'm still taking the Spurs in a series over Houston IF we're fully healthy. They're just more talented than us right now. Nothing to be ashamed of.

There's no such thing as moral victories. Houston got complacent and SA knocked down a couple of shots. Houston got serious and the Spurs were completely outclassed.

No, Houston is what everyone says. Live by the 3 and die by the 3. Our come back happened due to us finally hitting some shots, and they missed like 11 straight 3's, most of which were well defended.

cp3 ended that game with 3 mid-ranges in a row and Harden was having fun as he wanted, I think you're underestimating the only team that proved can run with gsw so far

Yep. I really only watch the NBA because of the Spurs. But they are a real challenge these days.
Same here man, I can't watch any other NBA teams. I've tried to the past couple of years, but I just can't do it. Most other teams are too boring and have players I can't stand. Lebron, I liked until he left Cleveland. After he went to the Heat there never really was a chance for me to be a full on fan of his again.

It's only the 3rd time he's scored over 20 in the Spurs-Aldridge era, a total of 2.5 seasons..

In the "Beautiful Game" era, he scored over 20 points 32 times in 3.5 seasons..

spurs got within striking distance without kawhi and gay but cp3 isn't playing that poorly in the POs. rockets were also without ariza and gordon.

Right, but things got close when they missed 11 straight 3's. It must be nice to have your full team to go against GS to really get a feel of how they match up

I liked the interview in the sense that he appreciated the team played better in the second half and also, that no matter who is hurt or not playing, he doesn’t ignore performance. Team has to get better executing what they want and things of that nature.

Just a tough one. The 1st Q they spotted the Rockets was too much to overcome and when they got the game close Harden took over.
