Also, why does he get credit for those 39 wins that Walton was the interim-Coach when Kerr wasn't even inside the building
- On a path to become one of the greatest coaches of all time?
- Or is he a flash in the pan due to the cir stances that have led to creating the most talented roster in NBA history?
- Discuss.

He was already an all time great coach before Durant.
When it's all said and done he'll be right up there with Phil and Pop.
Draymond with the honesty.
So much salt here. That team got bounced in the first by CP0 when they were under Mark Jackson. Kerr took that team to 67 wins and a le the next year with the only significant addition to the roster being Shawn Livingston.
Steve Kerr is a good coach, but give him the Dallas roster and the team isn’t doing any better that they are with Carlisle. The only coaches who truly stand out as special are Pop and Stevens.
I think that's more of a reflection of how ty Mark Jackson is as a coach, not how great Kerr is.
The league is filled with Mark Jacksons on the sidelines though.
Poop is Phil’s . They shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence.
Coaching skill wise this is true, but from what's been leaked from players he seems like a genuine POS as a person as well.
Kerr is extremely underrated, tbh..they continue to dominate even when Curry or Durant sit, it's a testament to the system he built..if you think Phil Jackson is a good coach, I don't see how you could doubt Kerr, there's no difference..
I'd have Stevens, Carlisle, Budenholzer, Spoelstra and maybe D'Antoni ahead of him, though..
No they continue to dominate even when Curry or Durant because tday's NBA is utter
This team was on autopilot and went on a 24 win streak to start a season in which he was suffering from spinal surgery complications...![]()
letting his players coach tonight
overrated
He should do it against the spurms so popa could be out-coached by Draymond Green
you know, it would actually happen
Letting his players coach is so genius, tbh..
NBA fans stupidly think that in-game coaching makes a difference during the RSbuilding trust, culture and good relationships is far more important..Kerr lets the Warriors players be themselves and have fun, he doesn't act like Pop or Carlisle, which is especially important with today's players(millenial mentality)..
I salute him for not having a huge ego..
