But seriously, if the refs actually called it even, it would have been a better indication where we are. That third fouled Mills was a joke. Livingston undercuts and trips over mills who fell from the under cut.

Yup. Last year was the same
A rose-colored glasses take. Yes, the Spurs were up big before Leonard went out in game 1, but it is by no means a foregone conclusion that the Spurs would have won the series, even if the Spurs won game 1.
The Warriors options are vast, they can make many adjustments. Whereas the Spurs...if a team slows down/stops Leonard, it's over.

Of course the Warriors look beatable. The don't even need to play well to roll over teams. Most of the time they're just half-assing it, especially in the regular season.

The addition of Durant made the Warriors unbeatable. Their offensive firepower is overwhelming.
It's going to take another absurd super-team or key injuries to dethrone them.
It be nice to think otherwise, but...

Anderson continues his good play against the Dubs; 20pts, 6 rebs, 4 asts, 3 stls, 2 blocks and LMA looked really good thought he was more comfortable than i've seen him against this team. Didn't jack up bad shots after struggling to back down Dray or Zaza and stopped turning the ball over against them.

Look at that 3 point shooting. Pitiful. Half these players are on the team only because of their shooting and they can't hit against most of the top teams. Gutless s.

Thanks for the boxscore. I missed the game, but it looks like Kyle was pretty good except for the TOs.

Lamarcus has gotten used to their defense he definitely passed well out of doubles aand triples and still got his points. I thought he had a good game.

The spurs shooters missed good looks. Specially Patty, he had the best looks if any shooter and was off of course he lit up Phoenix in garbage time. He then came up empty against GSW... continuing a trend of playing awful against them.

I have felt like that for a while. It's pretty frustrating that it seems like Kawhi is not coming back this year.

Something I do know.. If we do get healthy we wouldn’t have to worry about guys like Patty and Forbes trying to make big plays. They’d be a lot more comfortable and efficient if someone like Kawhi can draw less attention to them so they can just shoot the ball and not worry about trying to make a lot of plays. We need Kawhi and Gay healthy so our role players can actually do just that.. be role players.

Patty and Forbes won't suddenly be playing defense if Kawhi comes back.

It don’t matter. We have horrible defenders but still mostly always somehow hold teams to under their average. The defensive system is just that great I guess. So I’ve stopped worrying about that. What we need is scoring.

It does matter. Too many exploitable players. PATFO should've upgraded when they had the chance.

What I’m saying is that it’s too late. We have who we have. I don’t like it but it’s whatever. Several teams have players that can’t defend but somehow we play great team defense. We just need to score.

The thing is, some of these guys are regressing in areas that were their strengths.

When was the last time Patty had a great shooting game against GS?

I just know that before Kawhi got injured we up 23 and he was playing very calm and not doing anything to cost us the game. Then when Kawhi got injured he was scared as haha. But I’d rather him spot up and move run around than try to make plays with the ball in his hands.

Patty was 0 for 7 in that first half, iirc.

Well everyone was carrying him I guess but evidently he didn’t the team up lol. I’d rather him not play but we’re stuck with him so gotta atleast utilize him the best way we can. And only way that’s gonna happen is with a fully healthy team. I’m trying to worry less about this season. I’m at the point where I’m saying whatever happens, happens. I’ll just enjoy it the best way I can.
