Dedmon had 20 points and13 boards today...that's more in 1 game than Joffrey gets in 10 games...way to go PATFO!
Wouldn't call them garbage but I never beleved in them as a championship team. Who's the team's second best player? Jaylen Brown? Jason Tatum? Al Horford? Either way that's not going to win anything.

<3..that jump shot is looking pretty, looks like Bud had him work on it after he struggled on offense down the stretch with SA..38% from 3 and over 50% on mid-range Js..

This team had Dedmon, Simmons, and Lee as backups last year and yet some people insist that this is the same team that was up big on the Warriors.
Between failing to find adequate replacements for these guys, to regression from key players, and the vets just getting older, there is no way that this team has a chance even if Kawhi can move well enough to wipe his own ass again.
Oh the doom... if spurs are healthy they will beat gsw in 7
Too bad Kawhi can't even wipe his own ass yet.
Spurs should not have alienated him and let him go... he is paid a very reasonable low sum for an NBA center.... could play against athletic teams too. Pop giving out the GAsol deal was![]()
Meh i dont give a about him. Hes an iso 2nd option. Trade him for gordon
Tatum and gordon for mills and leonard. Fair
no chemistry and new teammates.... if he pulls up something similar to Oladipo in the coming seasons... the Orlando Magic have to.. I don't know...![]()
Spurs would have needed to break up the gang as you know... the fact Kiwi is injured just makes it easier for them to stand pat... they can always explain everything away bc he's not playing.
Orlando swapped Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Domantas Sabonis and Dario Saric for Ersan Ilyasova, Brandon Jennings, Serge Ibaka and Elfrid Payton.
Ilyasova in not on the team anymore.
Jennings is out of the league.
Ibaka and Payton were traded for Terrence Ross and a second round pick.

Oladipo
Fournier
Harris
Gordon/Saric
Vucevic/Sabonis
+ few role players
team advanced stats told me they are not very good
The idea was that we would get Gay and Parker up to speed. Along with LMA in a familiar system, and an improved mvp candidate, we were meant to give Warriors a run.
Hair Peyton! I love him!
Even Brad Stevens can only do so much to cover up the stench of a Kyrie "led" team, tbh.
With Gordon's contract and broken leg they would need to include either brown or the la 1st they hold but, they are one of only a few teams that can build an attractive package.
Pistons starting to fade now. Good to see Okafor back.

Emeka > Joff
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2...-atlanta-hawksBefore Thursday's deadline, the Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder were among teams believed to be interested in trading for him, league sources said. Those teams do have roster spots available to sign a free agent.
According to a Woj report on the Belinelli buy out talks the Spurs were among the teams interesting in trading for him. I wonder which player on our side was going out in a possible transaction? It sure as not Green.
After the Splitter fiasco the Hawks weren’t doing any salary-dumps favors for them, not of this magnitude, and not without including our first. With the uncertainty around Leonard return and a brutal schedule coming, the Spurs weren’t ready to let go of a pick that is practically an Aldridge health flare-up (knee, heart..) away from dipping into the lottery. .
I hope though that’s the real window into their thinking. Dumping Mills should be the first order of business this summer. He’s turned into a bigger abortion than I expected. Between the roster redundancy and ample evidence of him proving terrifyingly useless against the Warriors and other contenders for about 3 years now it is time to move one.
As for Parker, I think his relegation to the bench should help in greasing the wheels for him getting talked into a major paycut. I think you had him at 9-10 millions per annum salary in previous thread. I don’t think he is going to get that barring another rollback the years playoffs performance. Not happening.
Again, I’m afraid to say, they NEED an embarrassing playoffs sendoff for this front office to be awakened up from its slumber. You could feel this whole edifice is teetering here..
