He avoided the Kawhi/Spurs conflict and simply urged high profile FAs to come to the Spurs.
A copout for sure. But since he didn't reiterate his original take -- perhaps a bit of a backtrack as well.
But you criticize Durant and lebron after they win les. Or the way they won them. But you know you wouldn't care if your were a fan of the warriors or cavs. If they surround kl with the right help he needs and the spurs win a le you wouldn't care because they won it all. You know one player can't do it alone no matter how good they are. And what do you mean by "supposedly the best player on the team"? Are you implying kl wasn't the best on the team last season?

So correct me if I am wrong....ESPN is saying his uncle said all of the Kawhi is not happy stuff. But then Jabari young said he spoke with the uncle also saying nothing is wrong? Uhhh ok.
I certainly do. Im a fan of the spurs and the way they do business. No, if a superteam planned to just arrive in san antonio i would not watch, and would not be a fan.one player, is good enough, can. Kl has not shown the ability to lead a team to a playoff series victory. If he was a leader, he would squash the media bull . But he hasnt. Its todays culture. Overhyped players with limited skill who cry that they dont have enough help. There are zero tom bradys in the nba.

No new info, pretty much repeats what he said on First Take. Quotes the injury misdiagnosis as the main concern.
When asked point blank if he thinks Kawhi will be a Spur in 12 months, he says no, but he hates to imagine a world where Kawhi Leonard isn't playing for the Spurs.
Take it for whats it worth. All speculation at this point imo.

TBH if he can play and he's actually not playing because he doesn't want to be here then he can leave. I have no respect for anybody that pulls that . That's a low character move that not even someone like Kobe would pull. Dip s like you support that type of behavior without understanding how selfish it is. It's like any job you get paid to do work and not sit at home as a luxury simply because you don't like your work environment.

I don't think he's coming back this year but I can't wait until the summer arrives. By then we should know whether this injury is legit or he's holding out because he's angry at the FO. They are too many conflicting stories coming from both camps. The truth won't come out until the season is over.
So LA has a worse record than San Antonio. They don’t have a star like LMA either. So they are out.
Cavs have 0 money to sign Kawhi so that is out.
Celtics don’t have any cap space either. So that is out.
Can you really dismiss the LA thing like that? Truth is, no one knows what Kawhi is feeling because he doesn't say anything.

I think he meant playing on the West coast or in a contender. Meaning: if he isn't going to win, at least play at home.
I really doubt Kawhi is actually keeping himself out because he's upset with the team. All the years he's been on the team he's never shown to be that type of person.
