He's having some treatment in his knee and needs rest for it... sure he wasn't going to miss the ASG so they chose these two games instead. AFter the ASG he expects to be back and not need rest for the remaining games of the season... make of that what you will.
He might have thought I ain't missing the ASG to carry the team for 2 games in a bad knee when Kiwi is out with menstrual crapms all year.

What kind of person advertises they're a girl in their ing screen name ? Obviously they want the special treatment or attention that comes from being a girl on a forum populated mostly by dudes. There's no other reason to broadcast "tee-hee im a girl"

This team needs somebody who can put the ball in the hoop... I'll be damn, the 2 guys we got out are scoring specialists. If Rudy can't do anything else, he get can get a bucket or two. And KAWHI?... The Klaw would have been MVP for sure had he been healthy all year. Kawhi might have been leading the league in scoring.
I just need to see Kawhi out there soon, can Rudy at least come back soon? Maybe right after all star break? If Kawhi and Rudy don't play immediately after all star break...this team is MILK TOAST!

Seriously, it's time to tank. That's the first time I've ever said that as a Spurs fan. It's the perfect year to do it with all injuries and only being two losses ahead of the 8th seed. A lottery pick, everyone back healthy and a few roster tweaks would have them right back in contention.

These were 2 winnable games. With a 60-75 percent Aldridge we could have won both.
I'm rooting for the 50 streak, thats what this season has been reduced to and come to for me. Unless!...
Unless Kawhi comes back and goes Ham and win us some games going into the playoffs. Wich is my best case scenario.

I don't understand why LA missed these two games if he is still going to play in the All-Star game. Who's decision was that? Why couldn't he have played at least the first game and missed the All-star game instead? I asked this question after the Utah game as that decision had me perplexed. I don't know if it's confirmed that he's playing in the All-Star game for sure, but when I heard that, that surprised me. The Spurs are fighting to make the playoffs, so I wouldn't have thought he'd sit out two regular season games just to play in the All-Star game instead.
That's a horrendous decision, since you never know, these two losses could cost the Spurs a playoff spot at the end of the season.

The optics of this would be terrible. Stuff like that could poison lockerrooms (see Cavs players nearly coming to blows with Kevin Love over his supposed sickness).
Although let me say this: if there are signs of internal tension within the Spurs team, Pop public kowtowing to Aldridge is one of the main reasons that may have engendered it. His mea culpa to LMA came off a bit too generous for a tyrant-coach. Other players may have noticed that and aren't taking his bull anymore.
