NBA: '18 mvp bron or harden?

If LeMVP doesn't win, it's a travesty. The award should go to the most valuable basketball player, not the most shameless flopper and refballer.

You sure were quiet that game they got smacked by 35 on national tv.

Media narrative will be he embraced 3 guys from losing teams ...and provided the leadership to build a contender instantly ...all while the only other all star is out with a broken hand.
While Harden gets to play with the Point Gawd ...
Not saying he shuld win ...just saying he gonna make it close and if he does ...he might steal it.

The fact Harden plays with Paul, Westbrook plays with 2 other all stars and is 1 game out of 8th place. Harden and Paul are making it work by being unselfish. Success is not guaranteed just by having another all star or two.

Yep he owns that. Never disputed it. But we are talking about regular season awards. And according to you he is a regular season player, so not sure what your gripe is against a regular season award.

That’s fine and the narrative is bull is all I’m saying. Harden is putting up those same numbers against better compe ion night in and out—-and winning. He makes the most out of his teammates which is why nobody gives him the WB treatment of no help. CP3 apparently isn’t an all star so this rockets team has less than the Cavs. This stuff is for the lowest common denominator of NBA fan that can’t reason past the one or two games they hear. It’s absurd but I really hope Harden gets snubbed. The goal posts move every yr and they gave a guy who averaged like 0.4 rebounds more than him the award despite barely making the playoffs. This rockets team didn’t have any all stars last year. He doesn’t get the kid glove treatment Westbrook got then and Lebron is now. 3 ing wins and he’s above the guy doing it night in and out and winning

You make valid points and SAS agrees with you 100% ...said so on his show today ...but Max disagreed and im sure Cowherd will also be on his side as will the biggest LeBron stan (not named CN)...Nick Wright.
They have national TV shows that help spin the narratives ...
btw as great as Bron was last night he was negative plus/minus...
like i said i was flipping back and forth ...but pretty sure Harden was a net positive ...

Couple of wins and LeCoon fans coming out of the woodwork like somehow that erases an underwhelming 1st half of the season

LeCoon is the only player that enters and leaves the mvp race on a game to game basis. His chances are only as good as his last statline. LeCoon fans are comedy.

yeah. i don’t understand how curry/kd are penalized for having mvp caliber teammates but harden gets a nice pass
