How would you know? Seriously doubt you've been around either.
Hey have any of you knuckleheads thought about this: if you put strict laws that take away a persons second amendment rights for seeking mental help then just maybe fewer people will seek help? These problems aren’t as easy as you people believe in your little fantasy world.
How would you define a mental health issue that would prevent one from being able to own a gun and separate it from day depression? Or would you disallow people with depression from buying guns? That’s about 1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 men who are on ssri Right now, and if you looked at everyone who’s ever taken one in their life it’s a lot higher than that. So just bar half the population from owning a gun? What if the depression is cured? Who would determine that? I wouldn’t think it’s fair to take away someone’s rights and then have it be subjective on if/when you ever get them back. What if this psychiatrist says the person is better but this one says otherwise?
It’s easy to piss and moan with no real solutions to offer. Most of you have never even stopped to think about these questions because you don’t value the second amendment and would honestly rather just do away with it altogether than deal with the details.
How would you know? Seriously doubt you've been around either.
It'd be complete ignorance like Chicago, and the border states would get blamed for having relaxed gun laws.
What about them?
English is my second language, actually, technically third. Nice try head. Ferme la bouche, je bent onwetend.

Lol only country. I guess you haven’t noticed there’s a large region that’s been Nonstop chaos for a while now and there are regular mass shootings of civilians. Way more than here.
implying mass shootings arent a uniquely and disproportionately american phenomenon while posting in 2018
Adorable!
I actually did thought about this, tbh... there's nothing wrong with having an independent mental health professional determine if you're currently psychologically capable of be in possession of firearms. But you could also provide the ability to challenge the findings wth a different professional. The order can also be revisited every 6 months or so, as deemed by the judge that would be temporarily revoking your right.
Then again, walking down that road and trying to figure it out would entail challenging the NRA and their political dollars at work, tbh, which is easier said than done.
They’re not, they happen in a plethora of other countries all the time. Bataclan? Unique my ass.
Oh my goodness, really you’re doing my the nra thing? The nra is doing what Millions of Americans pay them to do, defend our gun rights. They’re doing exactly what we want them to do, acting on our behalf. It’s ridiculous.
They were ing terrorists, not just red necks with a mental disorder with easy access to overpowered weapons ya pelican
You have a right to a musket, how many muskets do you have?
Doesn’t make it any different dip , are you trying to imply large numbers of people are any less dead? It’s still a mass shooting in a place that isn’t America. Motivation doesn’t change the end result. He made a claim, he was wrong. That doesn’t mean you need to feel compelled to come suck his . Worry about whatever foreigner infested hole you come from.
I have a right to bear ARMS, not the right to bear muskets. an ar15 is a modern day musket. The verbiage was written like that for a reason. I dont see your ass on the Supreme Court thank goodness.
Lol triggered

Lol he mentions 1 incident
"Regularly" happens
Looked what happened in Australia after the 1996 mass shooting and massive gun buyback. Hint: massive reduction in gun crimes
Sigh, wrong.

we we wouldn’t even be the highest per capita in Europe
They fell into socialism and have gulags now like Chris always says will happen?
Japan got rid of guns alnost completely must be gulags and concentration camps everywhere
Does that include, say, a rocket launcher?
I'm just going to conclude you don't own any guns at all tbh.
"Millions of Americans pay them to do, defend our gun rights"
goddamn, you gun fellators are ing stupid
I didn't bring it lightly, tbh, the NRA pretty much single-handedly destroyed gun-violence research (you know, science, the stuff we use to solve complex problems) through the ey Amendment.
Even ey regrets being part of that, but too late now, and it would take a fairly massive movement to bring research back in that area. Without that kind of research, offering any 'solution' is shooting in the dark (pun intended).
You gotta look at the history of why we came to this point, otherwise, we're bound to repeat the same mistakes.
