if it has zero to do with race why did you suddenly start bringing up other black people you claim to like![]()
Yeah I like Marvel. Just not Hollywood. Grew up reading X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor - basically anything X or Wolverine. Then Image Comics came out with Spawn and The Maxx, and that was like a major change of scenery. Black Panther was one of those guys like Aqua-Man, not really exciting and kind of a joke imo.

Never read any of those except the boring Aquaman. Got out of comiics around when Thor was on the newstands. I knew the mythology and didn't like it being bull ted about in the comics. Ya can't do that with literary characters, mythology.

So stupid it's comical, my God guy.
Who said anything about race? Black Swan Records is a black people? I just found it strange how all the other "Black" whatever I was cool with just not ....Black Panther.
Dude, ya crack me up, hahaha~~~
You probably grew up in the golden age of comics. I wish I could have gotten my hands on those old Conan comics tbh, but luckily my mother owned like the first 10 issues of Heavy Metal. Never got into Thor, was more interested in Greek mythology than Norse when I was a kid.
first two things you brought up were alex cross and shaft... for no reason
You want the Conan books by Robert E. Howard, there are 12 of them. If heroic fantasy is your thing this is as good as it gets, amazing saga. Give Michael Moor s Elric of Melniborne stories a read, fantastic epic.
I think all of mythology is amazing, fantastic stories everywhere.
When ya make movies or comic books using others creations ya can't just do what you want, you need to stick to what was real in that creation.

That was my....it's not about race.........that flew right over your pin head.
Dude, why are you off topic here, stay on topic or shut the up, got it?
Maybe because you're racist
I didn't name my record company.....Black Swan, and I didn't call myself...Black or Black Bottom. BUT....if a racist is a guy who gets the fact yes we are different and that's why we have the different races, yep....racist.
I've been to Mexico, Japan, East LA, yep....different.
It is funny...
Avante...not real interested in this Black Panther movie.
Some dummy....highjacking another thread I see
Avante......huh????
When it should have been.
Poster....strange that you'd like the MARVEL flicks but not this one.
Still making it about you
Just came back from the cinema. BP was very solid and entertaining. But, at least for me, not the best of the MCU.
I like the first Iron Man, Cap2, GotG, Civil War and Ragnarok better. Spiderman was equally entertaining.
Although BP is certainly not the first black superhero it's the first one that really concentrates on the African heritage, which, imo, is what makes it so important for the black community. Of course I could be wrong, being a) german and more importantly b) white.
Saw it last night in Imax. Fun movie. I'd give it 7.5/10.
Never a fan of the comic character, but the movie was fun. Better than Dr. Strange, about as good as Ant Man, a step below the last two Thors and Caps.
to me its pretty impressive that MCU hasn't really been losing steam. the recent entries have pretty much all been great. just looking at phase 3...
Civil War - one of the best
Doctor Strange - great
Guardians vol 2 - letdown after GOTG, but still good
Homecoming - great
Ragnarok - great
Black Panther - great
Phase 2 had some stinkers like Dark World, Ironman 3... and Age of Ultron was a letdown. But they've come back strong with a great phase 3.
Thanks, Trill.
oh look paul joseph watson ranting about black people. hold the presses
lol white people really losing their about this movie.
"I haven't actually seen it"
of course he hasn't. going to see it would put him at risk of actually being near black people. a terrifying thought.
lol racist
