    Spurs never able to keep "flashy s" around. He got the corn rolls, went to china to promote, got his own brand going (the claw). All this typically "un spurs like" . Look at all the past swaggy flashy s that didn't last here. Jax, Simmons, Dedmond, Blair....am I missing anyone?? Won't shock me if he leaves and would be typical spurs not being able to retain him. "Oh but he's quiet" are we sure about that? Maybe he's just playing the part for the spurs but that's not really his true personality and now it's starting to leak out with all this drama? Just saying. I hope I'm wrong and we're able to keep him but I'm really starting to have doubts.

    Someone on reddit suggested something similar minus the "he's leaving" part. Saying that the Spurs are showcasing LMA so they could raise his value and trade him next year. Kawhi's in the know so he's just doing his part and sitting out on purpose so "ma touches" gets his.

    Yeah Kawhi is in the same boat as all those cats, good call OP. It’s almost tough to say which one Spurs should have kept. Hindsight I guess! IMO Blair was a little more worthy than Kawhi; WhataBlair never would have grown cornrows out. ing thug, Kawhi.
