Have they actually gotten into that? Cause the data ain't what it should be. Wonder how they priced that out. What kind of insurance are we talkin bout?
Well if Faith Consultant tweeted that, then it must be true.
"nother level"
"Important issues that are relevant to my everyday life!"
Is the New England Journal of Medicine good enough, Derptacular?
"The use of illicit drugs and a history of physical fights in the home are important risk factors for homicide in the home. Rather than confer protection, guns kept in the home are associated with an increase in the risk of homicide by a family member or intimate acquaintance."
http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056...99310073291506
"According to the New England Journal of Medicine, living in a home that contains a gun increases homicide risk by 40 percent."

Cool.
But we need a large concerted effort the NRA will not agree to. They blocked the funding.
Well, the first quote is just a sweeping statement with no empirical backing. The second statement does nothing to prove correlation, so no it's not good let alone good enough for me, derpony.
I don't even care too much about getting rid of guns since its way too impractical of a pipe dream but pretty re ed to pretend houses with guns in them are safer. I mean heated arguments its better to not have a gun around. Basically what killed that Marvin Gaye guy who is one of my favorite musicians
maybe the increased risk of homicide from gun owners is not due to guns tho. maybe they poison people more often?!? Ever think of that?!!?
I like making the arguments

I don't know why that's funny. It's on the nose. Mind you, I'm not finding fault with the publication, just your faulty application thereof.
Anytime you apply your brain to any kind of task it ends with a faulty outcome.
Im not distraught either but not wanting find out specifics like yourbabove hinders us knowing. There are very likely places and situations where gun ownership does in fact stop gun violence. But we won't know this because we don't fund the studies. All we get is anecdotal blurbs about a poor kid killing himself, or a gun toting store owner protecting his workers from assailants.
Millennial triggered I guess.
Home owner's or renter's liability insurance would be higher for residences with guns for accidental shooting of non-family
Suicide and murder, of anybody, aren't covered usually
The adults in the room that actually pay for insurance know that tweet is bull because they dont ask if you own guns.
theres adults in spurstalk?!?!
Its been a while since I renewed/reevaluation and I could not remember. Homeowners. Which is why I asked.
Strangely, I don't consider myself an adult though. Go figure.
Argument invalid since health insurance rates based on what you have in your house would be ALOT more beneficial but god forbid that happens.
love my guns. unfortunately, its about responsibility. thats why its ed.
neanderthal american animals thinking by owning an AR15 you are protected against a renegade US army or police force

My house keeps me safe but owning it raises my total insurance costs. Odd how that works. Also, insurance companies in Texas have no idea whether or not you own a firearm.
Are you more likely to commit suicide using your house?
Not really, but you're more protected than you would be without it.
