That's noy the reason he announced. He may not even be running in 2020 (if he's not impeached first). He wants to rake in those "campaign contributions". He's got the RNC forking over a ton for his legal bills and for Trump Tower office space.

Don't really see anyone on either side challenging him tbh. Oprah?

His approval rating is already 7 percentage points higher than Obama's was at this time during his tenure. I'm sure people like Jill Stein and maybe even Bernie Sanders may try to cash in one more time, but it's not going to matter.

I don't see the Democratic Party recovering after all is said and done with the multiple investigations and their recent bankruptcy. The Dems have been soiled with Radical Socialism and those kinds of stains are hard to wash out. The Information Age has not been kind to the Democrats either now that we have a clear picture on the history of their party. People like Dinesh D'Souza and Ben Shapiro are the real patriots enduring endless strife to deliver the uncomfortable truths.

That is some serious delusion going on.

    Obama, approval 2-15-10 = 53%
Drumpf has never gone above 45%
, and is currently hovering at 37% or so, which is still lower than Obama's ever was.

You might be thinking about his disapproval rating. Trump scores about 20% higher than Obama in that regard at this point.

    Yep Spurtacular nailed it

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.

By comparison, President Obama earned 43% approval on this date in the second year of his presidency

After the 2010 midterm elections, Silver concluded that Rasmussen's polls were the least accurate of the major pollsters in 2010, having an average error of 5.8 points and a pro-Republican bias of 3.9 points according to Silver's model.[70] Conservative polling analyst Neil Stevens wrote, "after the primaries [Silver] said Rasmussen was in his crosshairs for ducking out on a number of races by not polling primaries."[82] FiveThirtyEight currently rates Rasmussen Reports with a C+ grade and notes a simple average error of 5.3 percent across 657 polls analyzed.[8

But what if I tell you...he's not.

Rassmussen is shamelessly partisan and leans heavy to the right.

I think explaining this further may give me an aneurysm.

OK, what was the rigging in 2010?

I was actually thinking 2012. I don't tend to care that much about midterms. I ain't a partisan hanger-on like you, tbh.
