So your response to the question about a move that was clearly a travel is to show a video of analyst showing a perfectly legal move by the same player? Did the original person say that every move that Harden had was a travel?

It's not a double step back; people are counting before the gather. In the gif I quoted Harden gathers the ball after he shuffles his left foot back just before the three point line. Then he steps back behind the three point line. The first step back is irrelevant bc he hasn't stopped his dribble yet.

No it's not. Watch in slow motion. He gathers the ball just as he gets his left foot down and then steps back with his right foot. The same 0 1 2 step style Ronnie Nunn refers to.
The ball does hit his hand with his right foot down but he still hasn't actually gathered the ball.
