only spur homer can argue that kiwi's surrounding talent here would be better than in LA tbh

I am with you 100 %.
Do you think there’s a chance Pop is opening his eyes with this vet crew?
The only thing good about the Spurs losing like this is seeing his pathetic face.
Guessing he'll be out the next game as well.
Maybe it's because they're not tanking and are actually trying to win and the team just sucks.
Or they are tanking and not playing the young guys because that could actually lead to more wins.
Idk at this point, I'm so fkin lost.![]()

Next game is against the Grizzlies, who have lost 13 in a row. I swear I'll believe the Spurs are tanking if they end up losing that game.![]()
Is a 2% chance at a top three pick better than a 1% chance at a le? At this point, I kind of think so. For a team that hasn’t won in ages, the answer might be different.
Feel worst for Rudy Gay who finally wanted to be on a good team...
Not during the regular season.
Pop's history is rolling the trash right into the playoffs, watching the crappy vets get destroyed, c finally panicking once they get too far behind, and then playing the rookie in desperation.
Hill, Splitter, Boban. And it would have happened with Stephen Jackson in 2002 but the rules were different and Jackson was forced to be inactive for the playoffs in my memory is right. Instead Porter was left to fall down and Steve Smith be wreckage.
But if they miss the playoffs Pop won't have the chance to do his usual schtick.
“It just doesn’t matter, It just doesn’t matter, It just doesn’t matter!
Looking like it's almost time to just take this season behind the woodshed and put it out of its misery.
The only solace I have is that it's taken an unprecedented run of injuries to finally bring the doom to the Spurs that pundits have been predicting for a decade now. This team was built around Kawhi and without him, well...this is what we get. Especially when the other big piece added (Gay) has been out or restricted by injury for half the season.
Barring another catastrophe like that, Spurs should be able to bounce back next year.
I think next year will be a different story, but this year is ING OVER.
Maybe he’s part of that problem. Not blaming him. Just remarking that his teams have never done .
This year gets stranger by the min from Kawhi’s injury to Pops rotations. We have done about everything possible to lose games. I’m not expecting Kawhi to come back this year and really disappointed by his lack of communication. No other star player could get away with missing most of the year and not even giving a sit down interview. It’s an embarrassment and the fans deserve better. I guess the fans don’t matter even though there wouldn’t be a league without them.
With 4:58 left in the 4th, the Spurs had a 98.2% probability of winning, and they lost to a midget and a Lonzo ing Ball.
