Trump Organization orders tee markers featuring presidential seal
The Trump Organization has ordered tee markers that feature the presidential seal, which could violate a federal law dictating that the seal can only be used for government business, ProPublica reported Monday.
One of the markers — used on courses to show golfers where they should tee off — was also displayed in a Facebook album by the company led "Trump International Golf Course." The photo on Facebook later appeared to be deleted.
The company declined to tell ProPublica who had ordered the markers. However, the publication and WNYC viewed an order form that listed the customer as “Trump International.”
“We made the design, and the client confirmed the design,” Eagle Sign owner Joseph E. Bates told ProPublica.

Why did the Obama Administration start an investigation into the Trump Campaign (with zero proof of wrongdoing) long before the Election in November?
Wanted to discredit so Crooked H would win.
Unprecedented.
Bigger than Watergate!
Plus, Obama did NOTHING about Russian meddling.

Geraldo Fawns Over Ivanka After Selfie: ‘She’s So Noble and She’s So Efficient and So Effective’
“She’s so noble and she’s so efficient and so effective,” Rivera said.
“She wants the best for the country.
She wants the best for her dad.
I’m 100 percent behind her.”

Ivanka Trump: Born to legitimize corruption and make the shoddy look cute
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) offered an extraordinary insight. It shot through the proceedings like a comet.
"Corrupt kleptocrats and international criminals make themselves rich in criminality and corruption," he said.
"Then at some point they need the legitimate world in order to protect and account for their stolen proceeds."
What? Whitehouse sketched a new bipolar world order, in which
the so-called legitimate world, which includes the United States, is not at war with,
but rather deeply enmeshed in, the corrupt one, where governments are built on bribery, kleptocracy, electoral fraud, slush funds, legal plunder and nepotism.
"How good a job is the legitimate world doing about fencing off the corrupt world rather than facilitating it? "
Browder didn't mince words.
"The legitimate world, and America in particular, are failing in an absolute way," he said.
The corrupt "steal the money, commit their crimes and kill the people, and
then come here in the legitimate world with the rule of law, with the property rights, and with all the protections and keep their money."
Crooks seeking legitimacy are not fenced out in America.
The U.S. is teeming with enablers champing at the bit to serve rich thugs: lawyers, lobbyists, bankers, security firms, consultants and PR people.
Oh, Ivanka.
Her livelihood is as opaque as her full-coverage foundation, but
she plays a critical role in her father's administration — and in
the broader danse macabre of corruption and legitimacy.
It's Ivanka who first brought Gen. Michael "Lied to the FBI" Flynn into the administration, according to the New Yorker; she praised him for his "amazing loyalty" and offered him his choice of positions at a transition-team meeting. One person present said, "It was like Princess Ivanka had laid the sword on Flynn's shoulders and said, 'Rise and go forth.'"
In 2006, when she was 25, she toured Moscow with Felix Sater, who in 1998 pleaded guilty to a $40-million stock fraud scheme run by the Russian mafia.
She also collaborated with the Soviet-born businessman Tamir Sapir, whose top aide in 2004 pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy with the Gambino crime family.
It's impossible to keep track of all the gangsters Ivanka has palled around with.
But what's truly damning are the shady real-estate projects she has made rise and go forth.
In 2006, she oversaw the development of the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower in Panama City.
The project was connected to a Brazilian money launderer later arrested for fraud and forgery
as well as a Russian investor who'd previously been jailed in Israel for kidnapping.
FBI counterintelligence officials are investigating another Trump real-estate deal, the 63-story Trump International Hotel and Tower in Vancouver, which opened after Trump became president.
Ivanka has been described as "point person" on the development, which features an Ivanka Trump-branded spa.
When an organization exists not to build buildings but to brand them, its business is optics.
And Ivanka has long window-dressed the Trump Organization's deals.
She was born to make the shoddy look cute, to legitimize corruption.
And if it's the coverup and not the crime that will ultimately bring down the Trump syndicate,
Ivanka may turn out to be the point person for its demise.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: ‘Sanctuary’ San Francisco PLAGUED By Record Breaking Crime
California’s Bay Area residents are waking each morning to unprecedented levels of burglaries and car break-ins; with locals urging state leaders to clamp down on escalating crime, homelessness, and drug use after years of liberal laws and ‘Sanctuary City’ status.
According to CBS News, local residents are “seeing a record number of car burglaries” throughout the Bay Area; with San Francisco “leading the pack” ahead of neighboring cities Oakland and San Jose.
Law enforcement confirms the City by the Bay saw a stunning 31,120 car break-ins last year alone; a 17% rise since 2016.
“Unlike San Francisco, where burglars are targeting rental cars and tourist destinations, in Oakland, the majority of the break-ins are in commercial districts, where people go shop and dine,” writes CBS San Francisco.
“The chances of getting caught are very slim. In San Francisco, for example, not even 2 percent of the thieves are nabbed,” adds the site.
The Bay Area was thrust into the national spotlight last week when Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf rebuked the federal government and warned illegal immigrants throughout the region of impending ICE raids.

US District Judge Rules Trump Admin Can Withhold $1 Million Funding to Rogue Sanctuary State of California
U.S. District Judge William Orrick refused to order President Trump to pay California $1 million in delayed law enforcement funding over their sanctuary state policies.
The Trump administration has withheld $1 million to the Golden State over its rogue illegal immigrant policies.
The Washington Times reported:
The Trump administration will not immediately have to award California a grant being withheld over concerns the state is a sanctuary for people in the country illegally, a federal judge said Monday.
The amount of money at issue – $1 million – was relatively small and was at this point only delayed, not denied, U.S. District Judge William Orrick said. While he rejected the state’s request for a preliminary injunction to turn over the money, he also rejected a request by the U.S. Department of Justice to dismiss California’s lawsuit.
The judge said the suit raised “weighty and novel cons utional issues” that would benefit from additional argument.
Many cities in the U.S., and some states, have implemented so-called sanctuary laws encouraging law enforcement to focus resources on local crime rather than detaining people suspected of being in the country illegally. Defenders of the practices say they improve public safety by promoting trust among law enforcement and immigrant communities and reserve scarce police resources for urgent crime-fighting needs.

such a misleading article le (no surprise). the judge didn't say trump has the authority to withhold the funds.
he just said he's not going to order the administration to give the money RIGHT NOW, and instead wants to actually hear the case first. if he rules in CA's favor after hearing the case, then he'd order the money to be paid at that point. if he rules in Trump's favor, then he won't make that order. CA sought to have the money paid up front, and then at the conclusion of the case, either keep the money (if CA wins) or pay it back to Washington (if Fed Govt wins)
it was purely a procedural ruling, not one on the merits.
in my opinion, cons utionally speaking, there's no reason the feds should be forced to give the 1 mil. the general principle is this: the federal government cannot force a state to act against their will. to do so is what is known as "commandeering" which IS uncons utional. however, as a work-around, there is precedent for the feds to withhold funding to apply pressure. if the funding being withheld is so great that it actually forces the state's hand, it would be considered commandeering and THAT would be uncons utional. i dont see 1mil to the state of california rising to that level...
that said, that's a very surface level picture, the case is certainly much more complex than that, and the judge has made no such ruling at this point
