Good news is that the best the Spurs could do is the 13th pick.

The Jazz just picked Donovan Mitc with the 13th pick.

Can you imagine a player like a Mitc crushing teams for the Spurs next year?

    The Austin Spurs.

Because that's where Mitc would be right now if he was drafted by San Antonio.

Wouldn't be fair to Patty Mills to not start him at the 2.
Let's be honest, this man is right.

For the sake of the tank, Mills had to play.

But the Spurs still have at least 2 expected wins left against tanking teams: Orlando on Tuesday on the second half of a back to back, and Sacramento with the 81st game of the year.

Those could be prime White games that won't hurt the tank and get Mills rest out of respect for him him being one of RC's "big 4"

There's also a road B2B in Los Angeles where game 2 is against the Lakers and that would be a good opportunity.

This is hilarious but let's be honest.... Drunkford is picking a euro or an unathletic house lightskin that can't shoot

Need to start the offseason by replacing the team president.

We look forward to the next Nesterovich. Hopefully this system player and positional defender won’t be stashed away for more than a decade.

I personally see them drafting Baby Fathead III who will have a cranium bigger than even our two current Fatheads combined. He'll be a ball dominant player with poor handles, no jumpshot, and below average athleticism, but will at least gets his fivehead in the passing lanes now and then.

Despite still probably being better than Fatty Mills, Pop will keep him on the bench for 3 years because "wouldn't be fair/getting over himself/not his year/etc".

Must be frustrating for Manu who may be playing his last season as a Spur to possibly be missing the playoffs for the first time in his career. The West is just a mess this season with most of them having near or the same record. It such a mess even a 3 game losing streak can push you out.

i think the spurs could easily lose to the magic due to the disparity of talent. You can't outmatch the spurs lack of shooting talent.
but this "great support roster" for Kawhi Leonard...

Nah. It’s not frustrating. First if something like that was going to frustrate him, he should have known when it’s time to retire... Don’t want to hang around too late after the expiration date if he’s going to be frustrated. Second, he is happy to just be playing with his friend Pity Mills.

Kiwi may still save this. He'd have to be fully healthy. I am not sure if he will be in minutes restrictions, or will need rest games which just !ames me doubt the outcome can be changed but anyways,

KL is,will be out of game shape, probably still in pain, tentative, feeling pressure to be his old self

Pop and team show no intensity, they dont care, just depositing the checks

Pretty much this. These wild dreams of him coming back, putting these scrubs on his quad, and taking them to the le as the 8th seed are pure fantasy.
