I have thought so. Since b4 the ASB the team has been stealthily "resting" LMA for a sore knee ... A good draft pick would be a way to fix up their mess from this pass summer.

Not "fix" but help. A first step. But I still don't want PATFO back. Their judgment was irredeemably exposed last summer. And as I posted in another thread, DWhite would have to play Patty minutes the rest of the season to boost his rookie season numbers to the level of every one of the Spurs' other recent 1st round picks. He was buried in Austin long before the tank (if any) was on.

I don't have a bone to pick in this fight. Thought he had some good defensive moments good for 11-13th man perhaps playing 10-15 minutes in a game not 32. But for a rookie, which White is too, and an old rookie at that, he hasn't shown much and he played a lot early in the season. He has gotten a lot more minutes than White has, and a lot more minutes than Dijon himself got last season. Etc.

Not picking on you, just spurred a thought.

Paul isn't one of those guys that's going to show you something on his own - he's not some guy that's going to blow you away with his offensive game. But he's got a place in this league where he could become that Raja Bell-type player on a really good team.

That takes consistency and continuity, though. Sadly, no longer found on these Spurs.

Shouldn't have put Rudy back in. Davis was hot and was playing well. I figure Pop wanted Rudy to get in rhythm.

Since Rudy has been back the Spurs have only won one game and it wasn't bc of anything good Rudy did.... Food for thought. Perhaps he will be better next season... One can hope.

No l do not hate Rudy. I thought he would help more and he hasn’t. His body of work this season with the exception of some games very early in the season has been very underwhelming. As I said perhaps dude isn’t in good playing shape with all his injuries...
