I'm okay with it if you're running in a straight line forward. The defender should be punished for running full speed right at you from behind.

If you suddenly step sideways or backward though then yeah, offensive foul.

That’s the kinda of stuff that will keep Paul from ringing. He thinks he’s so “smart” pulling those tricks, but has had horrible turnovers in big moments in the playoffs trying to pull like that. Instead of just playing the game, he tries to get cute.
