Thanks. I don't know who to believe on whether or not he's been cleared to come back months ago, but what I do believe is, if he can play without injuring it any further, then he should definitely come back and play. If he can get into some kind of rhythm or form, the Spurs can make some noise in the playoffs with him. Without him, they're not likely to do anything in the playoffs.
As was stated earlier, Garrett confirmed that Kawhi has been cleared the entire season by the Spurs. This injury is psychosomatic. Kawhi got however many opinions after the Spurs cleared him because he’s still feeling pain.

None of these opinions have any evidence contrary to the Spurs only that “something may be there” and they’re only saying that because Kawhi says he’s feeling pain.

There won’t be anymore bull leaks by Kawhi’s team about a projected return because Pop finally put the onus on Kawhi. Until his doctors clear him there’s nothing to discuss. And they won’t clear him as long as he’s feeling pain. It was long overdue for the teams psyche but more importantly it put an end to this misdiagnosis bull .

I disagree with you on your point that the Spurs aren’t likely to do anything in the playoffs but then again I’m a Spurs fan not a player fan with a schtick.

Outside of the Warriors I’m confident the Spurs can beat any team in a 7 game series as long as they’re playing like they did vs Minnesota. Pop finally found a starting lineup that can play with anyone.

The only improvement would be starting White instead of Mills.

Didn’t mean to suggest you’re a player fan my comment was meant for the LGBTQ community that love when the Spurs lose, PATFO ing up, and want Kawhi to leave.

To the surprise of no one:

He’s not coming back this season, the only one who doesn’t know it apparently is the uncle who keeps leaking wrong stuff to the media...

Dr. Jason Garrett, who is regularly interviewed on 1250 The Blitz, has repeatedly said that this whole thing is only a pain/mental issue. He can play without injuring it any further. That's why the spurs doctors have cleared him. But his camp is holding him out anyway.
Well recent news has proven Dr. Ferret’s to be false. Please consider he is not Kawhi’s doctor and if he was he’d be losing his license for releasing confidential information on a local gossip show. I know I wouldn’t appreciate my doctor going on some yahoo radio show blabbering their mouth off. Pop has said several times that his doctors have not cleared him, so that’s why people are confused. I’d like to see Kawhi’s doctors send him a cease and shut the up order?

You have to wonder what this group of second doctors will be like going forward from the team's perspective. I mean everytime Kawhi has some injury, will the team have to wait on outsiders before he returns? That seems to not only undercut the Spurs medical staff, but the power of the organization. Let us hope this is a "one off", because effectively negotiating every injury would be a pain in the ass.

Maybe the disconnect was just played up in the press and the Spurs medical staff is okay with the specialists who presumably haven’t cleared him. We all thought he’d been cleared because that’s what we heard, but we weren’t hearing it from anyone that was actually Kawhi’s physician.

I seriously doubt there is any group of second doctors. This is the result of Kawhi and his camp being overly cautious, not any doctor's diagnosis.

It's all good. No one here has to agree with me. It's just my opinion that I think they can do something in the playoffs if he plays and is able to get into a rhythm and decent form before the end of the first round. I'd be OK sitting him if I thought the team could do something in the playoffs without him. I just don't think they can get out of the first round without him.

For s sake Kawhi. Get your ass back on the ing court you pussy.

Can anyone here that has some medical knowledge tell me if he can significantly worsen this injury by playing on it? If not, he needs to get his ass back on the court. He's got all of the off-season to do rehab on it.
Hes never led spurs to anything. Trade

If the injury is degenerative and chronic like that clown of Garret says, those doctors should have seen a lot more than "something may be there".

    1-pain is a medical symptom.

2-also, a quad injury numbness the leg after intense physical work, which in an NBA player's case affects his mobility and interferes with his ability to run

People who say a quad injury is "psychosomatic" shouldn't talk about it.

Could be. I guess we haven't really heard he was cleared by the Spurs from an official source. Pop did basically say it was Kawhi's decision didn't he?

Pop, and I believe RC, are on record saying he was seeing outside doctors. You think this is a smokescreen for some agenda from Kawhi and his uncle? Why would Pop and RC maintain that fiction if it isn't the case?

Don't underestimate the Spurs' tiness. That would be a mistake. The Spurs are more than capable of playing ty D and not making shots.

That was back in February, when he was consulting doctors in New York. No way doctors are advising Kawhi from across the country now.
