Find a non- got version of Kawhi.

Disregard "non- got" if he comes back.

I might get burned at the stake here, but throw an offer out to Boogie or even Paul George. Couldn't hurt. I mean, it would be cool for Paul George to return to the Spurs, full circle.

Depends on what happens with Kawhi and who is retiring but for all the criticism that can be laid on a thin front court with little depth (Kawhi isn’t playing so it makes them thinner)... they have to do something about this:

This is nothing new. It was the same last season too.
For a team that has about 8 guards none of them are any good offensively. Mills is their best offensive guard right now and he is above his depth in many games. White might be better but he’s not playing perhaps next season he gets his chance but that’s not going to be enough probably.
They need an offensively skilled guard. And it would be nice to have a big that can protect the rim. They have run LMA to the ground this year and their other center is 75 yrs old...
This was why spurs drafted murray. They thoight he would be a tony and get into the lane.... no rim attackers other than carmelo leonard.

Resign Tony and Manu, then make strong offers to Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and the Jet.

    - We trade Kawhi for Austin Rivers, Patrick Beverly (more PGs obviously) and Boban
The Logo ain't giving you PatBev and Boban, tbh. You'll get Austin, Wes and Dekker and like itPERIOD

This is pathetic. People are swearing they'll suck yo for Boogie Cousins. The depths we've fallen to. I half expect to see those creatures from "The Abyss" soon coming to save our drowning asses.

We need better guards. Simple. Every elite team has a monster back court.

    Lillard, McCollum
    Curry, Thompson
    Paul, Harden
    DeRozan, Lowry
    Wall, Beal
    Kyrie, Hayward (when healthy)

    And then there's:

    Murray, Mills

Also need to find a good back up big for Aldridge. No Joffrey .

I don't get why any spur fan would want the team to move to Seattle. I live in Charlotte so I'm not even close to SA and have never lived their in my life but it would be a travesty if the Spurs move. It would also wipe out the legacies of the great players played in SA. That tends to happen when a team moves. Nobody remembers that Wilt Chamberlain won a championship with the Philadelphia Warriors. Nobody remembers George Mikan winning les with the Minneapolis Lakers. Same thing will happen to Duncan's legacy over time if the Spurs move.

    I dont want the move.

Last summer's moves were awful. Moving to seattle would certainly top last summer's nightmare.

Spurs have still been building around Tony and Manu
Murray may still improve, but relying on him to save every other guard’s bad production was irresponsible. He was still very raw coming into the season and they knew his shooting needed a lot of work.

Now that they have fallen off a cliff perhaps they will address that problem. Or not.

Kyle Anderson will be a glue guy for years. His defense is very good, and he will only get better as his body matures. His shot is getting better. His in-between game is there. He helps on boards and plays unselfishly. He doesn't complain about no play calls he is getting. He probably doesn't even have one play written or practice for him. You can plug him into many situations. And he should come cheap because of stats.
This! Keep SlowMo, the kid is one of your best defenders and with KL back, he will be a solid player off the bench to spell Kawhi.

Pau was critical in our 25+ lead over the warriors in the conf finals last year. And Patty can thrive as an energy guy off the bench as well.
With Kawhi being a 3pt threat, Patty is no longer needed in the starting line up. The problem is neither Kyle nor Dejounte can stretch the floor. Thus, patty is needed because of his 3pt shooting. Otherwise, LA has no room to operate. If you don't believe me, see games Patty shoots well, we win.

I don't see anything wrong with our team, other than we are not as sexy as the Sixers. And that Pop is getting old, both metaphorically and literally. He will not coach forever and Kawhi might prefer to play for someone younger, like Brett Brown. A coach he already has a relationship with.

Imagine HOU without Harden for all but 9 games, and CP3, and others missing a 20+ games. The only team that can sustain an injury like Kawhi's is the warriors.

As for the summer, excect the spurs to try to keep Kawhi (regardless of health). Keep Rudy Gay, KA and DG, and keep developing Bryn Forbes and Derrick White, and of course Dejounte.

If they can do that, I would be ecstatic!

"If Kawhi doesn't come back".... maybe tank... trade whomever you can trade for assets, rebuild. I doubt Pop is up for that, maybe he retires. Also, depends on the reason Kawhi doesn't come back. If his career is over, then you won't get much in a trade for him.
