Hardaway has one of the worst contracts in the NBA(looking ahead) and he's already peaked as a player..Spurs would be trading a top 5 player in the world, can't be taking back horrible contracts..

I'd rather get a top 5 pick + a promising rookie(a team like Phoenix, for instance) over fragile Porzingis and a bad contract..

Getting Porzingis would be nice if they can't do any better, although he's one of the most overrated players in recent history.. he's the type of player Pop would like(his shade of skin, at least)..

Considering Porzingis' contract, we would have to take on a contract similar to Hardaway's, unless you'd rather get Courtney Lee, in which I wouldn't, tbh.

How about Devin Booker and Tyson Chandler for Kawhi?

No. Porzingis is a stud, but I fear he's going to be oft- injured, much like the complaints now about the guy we would be trading. There are much better trades than this.

I think Devin and another would be a possibility. Chandler is too old and isn't the defensive stopper he once was. Unless it included a 1st pick, too.

If Kawhi wants out, I'd also like to do this trade as a You to him since he apparently wants to go to LA. so send his soft ass to the opposite end, tbh

I have a feeling New York would be for him considering it's not a place you want to be if your an introvert.

the way i see it, only scenario in which spurs trade him is because he wants out, which would make him an ungrateful , which makes me want to dump him somewhere terrible like charlotte, new jersey, milwaukee, etc. in that trade scenario we'll get a return no matter what, might as well stick it to him..

of course, id much rather he came back and played close to his previous level, it just doesnt look/feel like he has any interest in doing that, here at least but maybe not even anywhere, his personality makes it almost impossible to tell really..

Don't you think LA would be just as difficult for an extreme introvert to handle?

I have been to LA a bunch of times. It's a very horizontal city that has large sprawl and is composed of hundred's of different suburbs and neighborhoods that are spread out. Outside of the bad areas LA feels like a gigantic suburb. Due to the sprawl it doesn't feel over crowded when you are over there except for the highways and traffic. If your an introvert in LA your going to be fine because no one is going to interact with you unless you make the effort. I live in Charlotte and have a friend whose from LA. I remember he once told me the difference among the people in Charlotte and LA is that if falls and trips on the street down here that people will come up to him to see if he's ok where as in LA no one would give a and act like he doesn't exist.

No pun intended Kawhi would feel at home in LA. NYC on the other hand would be for him. There is no place you can go without seeing large crowds of people due to the high population density NYC has. Unlike LA, New York doesn't have sprawl and everything is close by due to the city being a vertical city.

idk why people are acting like kawhi’s trade value is as high as it was when he was healthy.

Throw in Randle an take Hart, an this would sound great. Very desirable.

As always they are delusional. Kawhi is going to have to come back next season and be balling again. It’s not ok for him to have missed an entire season with a chronic injury. That still devalued him, probably more so than if he was acting up and being a locker room cancer.

Good perspective. Thanks. I count myself lucky for having very little exposure to either city. I tend to judge by population alone instead of considering the vertical/horizontal distinction, which I can see might be a critical difference.
