I thought the same though I am no fan of IT... only way it makes sense is swapping Mills for IT.
I Still think it doesnt happen. And unless it was on a switch of that nature I wouldn’t consider him at all.
I said this when IT was in Sacramento. He's the worst defender in the league. He makes Jimmer look like a good defender by comparison.

Based on offensive #'s on a team that couldn't score otherwise and thusly let him dribble out the first 15-18 seconds of the shot clock. Jimmer would've averaged 30 and been an MVP candidate too in that setup.
There’s always the reclamation project factor. He’s going to have to lower his asking price and much like Rudy can probably be signed for a lot less than he would have gotten otherwise...

The reclamation project was about playing next to Duncan and Gino; two guys who cover for lack of skill. Those days are over and while LMA has improved somewhat it's probably just organic growth. No one else has benefited from playing with the Spurs recently. Playing with kawhi is pretty nice, but who knows what's up with that.
Anyway, in the spirit of "if it's for the minimum" I say ok but this team can't count on bargains from veterans much anymore unless kawhi shows he wants to stay here
If we must add another midget would rather have Peter Dinklage. Far cooler, better at ude and can't be worse than IT on defense.
Thomas has had a horrible season, worse than Pattys.
He is not going to get as much as he thought.
I wouldn't like for him to be the Spurs acquisition, but he's not getting as much as he thinks he should.
